Lost my phone recently. Received my payout from Akko within a week of submitting my claim. Easy communication all by email. No complaints! I even have experience selling device protection in the past. Akko is the best I've ever come across. They wired funds directly to my account, on the higher-end value of a replacement iPhone (not the cheapest equivalent they could find). Highly recommended if you have a good phone! (and they also cover Canadians)

I am glad to have this insurance, however it is often very slow to get through their process and the fact that you can’t speak to an actual person is very frustrating. This time, however, things went very smoothly.

Claim was paid out in a daily timely matter. Customer service was nice and helpful throughout claim.

Claim process for phone was very simple and straightforward. File a claim with picture of damage, make an appointment at nearest Asurion store, and got reimbursed the repair cost shortly after uploading receipt. Couldn't be more satisfied with my claim.
