My wife and I had the worst experience with Gentlebands. First off, they claim to have locations in the U.S, but they are located in China. My ring was held in import customs for weeks before being released to deliver to our home.This was a nightmare and we will no longer use Gentlebands services moving forward.

First I paid for 2-3 day shipping. That was a lie. I just paid an extra $15 ish for it to come on a normal speed. Second, there is no “artisan” making the rings. They come from hongkong… save yourself the wait and go to a jeweller

I ordered a beautiful men's band .I really did not think anything of it . I figured a week at the most I would have to wait to get it . I am still waiting to get it ,it is now day 13 . So far according to the tracking number that was provided it floated around new jersey for about 4 days from place to place . Then it stopped tracking for a day or two , then it was on it's way , I thought FANTASTIC!! Nope kidding it went back to New Jersey. FINALLY!! The day tracking said it would be delivered by 9pm . I waited and waited I didn't even leave my house after work just to make sure I was there to get it when it arrived. 9pm came and went nothing was delivered, and you will never guess where tracking said it was ... Jamaica. So here I am day 13 and the date is 02-27-2026 ,and about an hour ago tracking said it would be delivered today AGAIN . I will probably never order from them again with this nightmare of shipping.

I wanted a surprise for hubby’s 50th so pinched his original wedding ring, got it sized up and sent the details to Gentle Bands for a Mountain Ring. On his birthday, the new ring only fit on his little finger. Straight away I went back to the company and sorted a new size. I offered to return the original ring which I was told I could keep. Thought it was too good to be true. Was told replacement was on its way and provided with a tracking number. After a few quiet days (UK based) Yodel sprang into life and I tracked the parcel - which to turned out to be was some random car part for a neighbour. I don’t quite know where the mess up has happened but hubbies birthday was a week ago and he still doesn’t have his present. Given we have also due to family circumstances, I would not wish on my worst enemy, I am beyond gutted. It’s the first time in years I have been able to save up some money to gift him something nice like this and it’s been horrendous and I am a lot of money out of pocket.

The shipping time was really fast! Very happy with how fast it got here. They inscribed exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with how it looks, but I am kind of disappointed with how the ring turned out. We ordered the Parachute Ring which looks amazing, big cogs with little cogs. The ring we got doesn't have any big cogs at all, it's a lot of little parts. It does look nice if it isn't compared to what we originally wanted, we like it but we are disappointed.

The company sent me a ring, when they were supposed to send me a ring sizer first. When I received the engraved ring, it was too small. I contacted GentleBands and they sent me a ring sizer and said they'd replace the original ring, and I wouldn't have to send back the original. Anyone want a free Ti size 8 ring? Ignore the interior engraving? I'm also very suspect of the material of the ring. It's supposed to be Ti but I suspect it's stainless steel, due to its weight. Overall, the process has been a joke.

UPDATE: Gentlebands did issue a refund, as promised. Though it took longer than expected, they honored their word. Original story: Purchased a ring, which was bulkier than the picture on the site conveyed. I reached out to ask about a possible return for refund, and they offered exchange for any ring on their site at their cost. After looking through their selection, I didn’t see anything I liked, so I requested a return, stating that their site touts free returns. Several emails (and days) later, I get an email stating that my refund is being processed and should show up in my account within 7 business days. Wait, did they really keep my payment information?? Sounded suspicious, so I asked. I also reminded “Sarah” that I still have the ring. No sooner do I send this email than I get ANOTHER email from “Sunny” starting in with the whole exchange for free line. Basically back to square one! I responded back saying, “that’s interesting, I just received this email from Sarah earlier this morning…” and pasted the refund email. I have little recourse other than to go to my bank and file a dispute if this magical refund doesn’t appear. Don’t be fooled - learn from someone who learned the hard way. Don’t buy from Gentlebands.com. Update: As of this morning, Gentlebands says they have issued a refund, which should post in 3-7 working days. They further state that I can keep the ring as a means to make up for any inconvenience. I appreciate this. I will certainly update to a more positive rating if this refund comes through. 03/12/24 - still waiting for a refund. 03/16/24 - Refund received!!! Finally, a positive outcome

I received my first ring after some time only to find it was slightly too large and the company was quick to respond, offering a free replacement in half a size down. I almost gave them a 5-Star review, until I received my replacement ring: right engraving, completely different ring, in a full size larger. I contacted them, noting the mistake with photo evidence only to be told I was wrong, and they sent the right ring. Affordable? Yes. Reputable? Not at all. Waiting on the correct ring or a refund..
