DECEPTIVE PACKAGING
DECEPTIVE PACKAGING — CONTAINER WAS ONLY HALF FULL I purchased this grass-fed protein powder after researching different products and believing I had found a high-quality choice. When I opened the container, I was shocked to discover that it appeared to be only about HALF FULL. The container is substantially larger than what appears necessary for the amount of product inside. As a consumer, when I see a container of this size on a shelf or online, I reasonably expect the amount of product inside to bear some relationship to the size of the package. I understand that some settling can occur with powdered products and that some empty space may be necessary during manufacturing and shipping. But what I received went far beyond what I expected. The amount of empty space was astonishing. If there is a legitimate functional reason why a container needs this much unused space, the manufacturer should clearly explain it. Otherwise, this type of packaging creates the impression that consumers are purchasing substantially more product than they actually receive. I don't care how good the ingredients are or how well the product tests if I feel misled the moment I open the container. Consumers: PAY ATTENTION TO THE NET WEIGHT, NOT THE SIZE OF THIS CONTAINER. The package may be much bigger than the amount of protein powder you're actually getting. I found the packaging extremely disappointing and potentially misleading, and I would NOT purchase this product again.
