We had only one salad that we enjoyed from their selection of salads and power cups Etc. Supposedly we were part of their reward program called lunch money but never could seem to get any lunch money deductions from our account. I do not recommend Garden cup.

I only used it for a couple of weeks, but the second week all the lettuce is wilted. Grapes were already mushy. I cancelled the subscription and they still sent another package even after I put to skip the week and cancel the subscription.

I had been hoping for something similar to Farmer's Fridge, which I had found in NY locations but wasn't available for delivery in Connecticut where we live. I found Gardencup online and the photos looked very similar to salads I'd gotten through Farmer's Fridge vending machines which were the same price as Gardencup and a well-balanced blend of lettuces with proteins, beans and veggies. Regrettably, when I received my Gardencup salads, most of them were about 90% shredded lettuce, with very little else to it. The jars were packed top to bottom with just lettuce, with less than an inch of other ingredients crammed into the bottom of the container. I also hated the flavors of the dressing; like the Southwest dressing tasted like onion dressing with no spice. Ultimately, I decided the cost-to-value wasn't working for me and I canceled my subscription. They offered me $10 off to return, but I still need a well-balanced and nutritious salad which they weren't offering. Now when I go into NY where I can find Farmer's Fridge, I bring along a cooler and an ice pack and just load up to bring it home.

I enjoyed the shipments I received, however, they weren’t reliable. Several times when I was expecting a shipment, I received nothing even though I was charged. These were my lunches for the week so I had to find something else to eat. Two of the salads in the last shipment were bad. I notified their customer service but have still not received a refund. I wanted to love this service but, unfortunately the service was unreliable.

Let me start by saying that I did love the salads. They were tasty, filling and convenient. I had been using them for several months before I bit into something hard. It was a small piece of sharp plastic. I looked in the salad further to find a second piece! There could have been more, but I either ate it or left it in the remaining salad. Hard sharp plastic is potentially dangerous to the soft tissue of your throat, stomach, etc. It looked like a salad container got shredded in with the salad. Needless to say, I was upset and contacted them and canceled my subscription. A couple of weeks later, I calmed down and chocked it up to a possible mistake. I know that things like this could happen and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt . But today, on my first time back on the subscription, I found yet ANOTHER piece of sharp plastic!!! I don't know what's going on over there, but they need better quality control. It is a health issue that needs correcting! I have canceled my subscription for good!!!!
