Set up our Gardencup Subscription excited to be able to enjoy salads daily. Scheduled my order for April 14th delivery as I am out of town. My order was just delivered to my house. Reached out to customer service with screenshots, they would not help. There are much better subscription services out there like CookUnity.

We’re truly sorry for the mix-up and the frustration this caused. It’s incredibly important to us that orders arrive when expected, and we understand how disappointing it is to receive a delivery while you’re away—especially after expecting it for a specific date. We’d love the chance to make this right and regain your trust. Please reach back out to our team at [email protected] so we can take another look and offer a resolution.

DO NOT order Gardencup
I ordered Gardencup with optimism, hoping it would be a convenient and healthy solution for my busy workdays. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a disaster. The shipment was delayed multiple times, and when it finally arrived, the food was completely inedible. I immediately canceled my subscription and removed my credit card information, receiving confirmation for both actions. Yet, despite this, Gardencup still charged me for another shipment and sent me unwanted products.
Throughout this frustrating ordeal, I contacted the company four times via email, seeking answers. Not once did they respond. Their failure to acknowledge cancellation requests and their willingness to charge credit cards for unauthorized purchases raises serious concerns about their business ethics.
Gardencup’s business model is fundamentally flawed. Their product is unstable, highly susceptible to spoilage, and their customer service is nonexistent. They do not honor cancellations, ignore inquiries, and engage in what can only be described as deceptive billing practices.
Consumers deserve transparency, reliability, and respect. Gardencup offers none of these. I strongly advise against purchasing from this company—learn from my experience and take your business elsewhere.

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this caused and we take full responsibility.
Delays and spoilage are never acceptable, but you are always covered by our Fresh Guarantee to prevent issues like this. As for the charge after cancellation, that absolutely should not have happened, and we understand how upsetting that is. We also take your concerns about unanswered emails seriously, and we're reviewing this internally to ensure nothing is slipping through the cracks.
This is not the experience we want any customer to have. Please reach out to us directly with your order information so we can fully investigate and resolve this for you. We appreciate you giving Gardencup a try, and we would love to make it up to you!

Horrible!
I have been a customer for well over a year. I have given them a pass over and over. Service and quality has declined rapidly over the year. Multiple late and missing deliveries, wilted and sour salads I have had to throw away. I get oh sorry responses, no changes.
Customer service that once was amazing is horrible! They do canned responses and don’t look into issues. It’s like they hired AI to respond.
Packaging is so bad (newly changed) I have to carry scissors with me to open the packages while getting salad dressing all over my hands. Company is becoming cheap and sacrificing quality.
Save yourself and don’t order from them!

We’re really sorry to hear this and want to sincerely thank you for being a long-time customer. Late or missing deliveries, wilted salads, and frustrating packaging are not what we aim to deliver, and your feedback is valued. We also take your concerns about customer service seriously and will absolutely review how we’re handling responses, automated or otherwise should never feel dismissive. We’d truly appreciate the opportunity to make this right, if you’re open to it, please reach out directly so we can dig deeper into your experience and offer a meaningful resolution.

This is not great food
This is not great food. This service is expensive and I thought the salads were going to taste better. The chicken is plain, hardly any seasonings. The pasta cups are not flavorful at all. Just plain. I’ve had much better pesto. Not a good meal. No flavor
Response from GardencupJul 8, 2025
We’re sorry to hear the meals didn’t live up to your expectations. We aim to create convenient, nutritious options that don’t sacrifice flavor. Your feedback about the chicken, pasta, and overall seasoning is incredibly helpful and we’ll definitely pass it along to our culinary team. We appreciate you giving Gardencup a try and would love to make it up to you by sending you our newer cups full of flavor!

I have no idea how the salads taste
I have no idea how the salads taste, because I have yet to receive the order I placed on Dec 29, which was supposed to be delivered on Jan 6 or Jan 13 at the latest. I have reached out via email and Jovan has been responding to my emails, but I haven’t been able to get a specific timeline for my order, nor can I cancel my order and get a refund because my order is too far into the process! What?! My salads aren’t even made yet! The latest info I was given was that my items would be shipping the week of the 20th, hopefully this means Jan. 20th. I had planned my lunches/dinners around this shipment, as my husband was on travel for that the period I had ordered the items for. I get weather hiccups, but if you can’t make a certain deadline, you need to figure out a way to give a refund no matter where an order is “in the process”.

I canceled my subscription to Garden…
I canceled my subscription to Garden Cup....didn't care for the product....not fresh.
Here it is the following month and I will be receiving more of the unfresh salads. Since I was not provided with a telephone number to contact them, I sent an email this morning. The response was that the products would soon be arriving...WHAT?
Response from GardencupJul 11, 2025

Please email us again at [email protected] and we’ll make sure your account is fully closed and issue a refund if applicable.

I strongly advise staying away from…
I strongly advise staying away from Gardencup. They are unscrupulous and engage in illegal billing practices. The frustration of dealing with their customer service is unparalleled. When I asked them to stop one of the duplicate orders, a representative blatantly lied, claiming I ignored an email that I never received—and likely was never sent.
Despite my persistent efforts, including canceling my subscription and requesting a refund for unauthorized charges, the issue with Gardencup persists. There have been three unauthorized transactions, including two I had already notified them to stop and requested a refund. I have email documentation proving my communications with them and request and acknowledged cancellation, yet the issue continues.
This situation is not just unacceptable, it's illegal. If my money is not refunded, I will not hesitate to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursue legal action. I urge you to save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this company. Their unethical practices are not worth the risk.
Response from GardencupJul 11, 2025
We’re very sorry for the experience you've described, and we take your concerns extremely seriously. Unauthorized charges and unresolved cancellations are unacceptable—and if our communication fell short or caused confusion, that is on us to correct immediately. We understand your frustration, especially if you’ve already provided documentation and feel that your concerns haven’t been addressed properly. Please know that we do not engage in deceptive practices, and we are committed to resolving this fairly and transparently. We’d appreciate the opportunity to personally review your account and issue any necessary refunds without further delay. Please email us at [email protected] and we’ll prioritize this for immediate investigation.

I wish I could leave -5 on this review…
I wish I could leave -5 on this review because 1 star is extremely generous. This company is horrible! After the first 2 months the quality plummeted to the point the salads are inedible. The first 3 salads I ate this week had chicken chunks of tendon that I actually choked on one then had to pick the rest out of the 1st and 2nd. The third one had a huge chunk of bacon fat(??) that was pure rubber and I couldn’t even consider eating-spit into the napkin and the threw that one and the remaining 6 in the garbage.
When I contacted the company 3 days ago to cancel the next order they said it was already shipped (tracking info said not shipped, due to arrive Wednesday…a week later). I received an email today saying it was delayed in shipping.
So, either the shipping company is lying and our salads are being left in transit for 5-6 days (doubt it) or they are sitting in a warehouse or delivery van for a week at a time. Either one will explain why I currently have food poisoning😡
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
Response from GardencupJul 11, 2025
We’re incredibly sorry for your experience and your frustration is completely valid. Quality and food safety are non-negotiables for us. This is far from the standard we hold ourselves to, and we take it very seriously. Regarding your order and the shipping delay, we understand how frustrating it is to be told an order has shipped only to see inconsistent tracking updates. While we work with third-party carriers, we are work to ensure your food arrives fresh, on time, and safe to eat. Our salads are made fresh and shipped out the same day and are only expected to be in transit 1-2 days. We will never expect you to pay for a delayed shipment.
We’d appreciate the opportunity to make this right and to better understand the specifics of your order so we can investigate internally and with our partners. Please reach out to [email protected] and we’ll escalate this immediately.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
