I just sold my laptop to Gadget Salvation. Very smooth and professional service. They also paid very promptly within 1 day after receiving the laptop. There is no risk as they pay shipping both ways.
I would use them again in the future.

Used Gadget Salvation to sell a laptop…
Used Gadget Salvation to sell a laptop and avoid all the problems of meeting with people and probably being scammed. They ended up giving me $50 less than the quoted price claiming battery use and minor wear (although my computer wasn't damaged). I didn't really want to fight about that, since I would have to pay that money had they shipped it back, so I just agreed. They were pretty quick to send my money, though (I used Chase).
Overall, it wasn't too bad.

Total bait and Switch
Was quoted $107 and they got back to me and only offered $12. Same feeling you get when you have that shady mechanic trying to get more out of you. Would not recommend. I should also note that the condition of my item in my opinion is not what is described by Gadget Salvation because that was not the condition when I sent it to them. I’m not a computer genius but I know what a unresponsive keyboard is. I wanted to make that clear since they commented on my review. Doesn’t really change anything that they replied to my review. Still questionable actions by them.

Matt, we are sorry to hear you feel this way about your transaction. The reason why your laptop was counter offered $12 is its condition after the evaluation:
2014 Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W
- Compromised motherboard: has damaged keyboard connector port
- Air bubbles under the display touch digitizer
- Missing multiple screws.
The keyboard was completely unresponsive, due to the broken port, and the touchscreen was faulty as well, this are major issues, as the motherboard will need to be repaired and the screen replaced (both expensive parts). It also seems that your laptop was attempted to be repaired, yet, online you stated your laptop was in good cosmetic condition and fully functional, that's why you received a quote of $107. Had you selected the issues your laptop had, the website would gave given an accurate quote. We understand that sometimes is hard to detect certain issues, such an unresponsive keyboard, but issues such a defective display (your screen shows visible cosmetic flaws) or screws are missing on the bottom case, are issues that need to be certainly stated in order to get an accurate quote.
In any case, we acknowledge that a small percentage of users will misrepresent the condition of their devices. Our business model takes this in consideration, that's why we offer free returns. We do want your complete satisfaction, and if we cannot offer a fair price for your device, there's no reason why you should be held responsible for the return shipping cost. So as per our free returns policy, your laptop is being sent back to you at no cost.
Once again, we are sorry the transaction didn't go as you expected. We would also would appreciate any further feedback that could help us improve our website calculator and/or our services. Please do let us know if there's anything we can do for you.

They may hate you if you ask for a return
I tried to trade in my Mac, and I was okay with the results of the report. I however was not okay with the condition I received my computer back in. There was now a crack on my charger and 2 gashes on the computer. That is just not right.
