I sent in two laptops because I wanted to buy a new one & the original estimate for one was over $500. Unfortunately, after I sent the laptops (which was an easy process) their raters found a battery issue I was unaware of, which wouldn’t have been such a big problem…if the offer didn’t suddenly drop to $300! While I was disheartened, it was the best offer I was getting, so I went ahead and accepted. Basically - the company will give you the best offer for whatever your old electronics are worth but that’s not saying much.

Overall great and fast service. My only issue was that they ended up paying me less then what I was originally quoted. Other than that, this is a trustworthy site

For the most part you get the prices that they quote you with. The only problem I have is when they do short hand you and lower the price of a gadget it's not very detailed so you really don't know why it's lowered. Other than that, they probably offer you the most money for your old tech.

I was wary because all other electronic trade in sites had iffy reviews and some said other sites gave them a really low price. This is actually a legit site. They did lower my amount by a slight difference due to slight scratches on my laptop. Which I don't remember seeing...May have been a shipping issue. But over all, I got my money fast. Everything was very smooth! Trustworthy company!

Would have liked a few more categories when it came to condition of particular parts of the laptop. I knew I'd get less than the estimate because I could not properly classify, for instance, the battery. It was fine that I got less, I expected as much, knowing the condition of my laptop. I would have just liked to know what the more likely number was from the outset and just a couple more questions could probably have gotten it there. That said, it was very easy to ship in and receive payment. No complaints there, and I still got more than I would have if I'd have just recycled it or tried to sell it to someone to refurb. Would recommend, will likely use again for old electronics!

Used Gadget Salvation to sell a laptop and avoid all the problems of meeting with people and probably being scammed. They ended up giving me $50 less than the quoted price claiming battery use and minor wear (although my computer wasn't damaged). I didn't really want to fight about that, since I would have to pay that money had they shipped it back, so I just agreed. They were pretty quick to send my money, though (I used Chase). Overall, it wasn't too bad.

Everything seems to have worked out smoothly. Went to website, printed shipping label, packaged, sent and a few weeks later I had the money. I didn't get as much as I had hoped but it was a laptop with no power cord, pretty old, and no password. Better than nothing as it was just sitting in garage collecting dust. I highly recommend this site. Seems to be on the up-and-up.

I just thought the items were brand new and could have been rated a little more than the offer given. These gadgets I sold were brand new and has never been used. Christmas presents. Could have been given a higher offer. That's my only draw back. But in general excellent and great service...
