Gadget CircuitReviews of gadgetcircuit.com

Great product. Great price. But please consider stop sending out ads through my email. I already request for unsubscribe multiple times. And why do I get float with spam emails from spammers after i sign up with gadgetcircuit...

Online ordering was simple and product was shipped the same day. Product was exactly what I had ordered, well packaged and in perfect working condition...would definitely recommend this company!

The only complaint I have is how long it took for a shipping update. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience.

I ordered a Nikon NX2000 because it was $50-$100 cheaper on Gadgetcircuit.com than most places. The transaction went fast and smoothly, and I received my camera the day my delivery date was set for! I was very pleased with that. But, prior to ordering, I read some reviews saying that the boxes people received seemed to be open. Upon receiving my camera, my box was untaped and seemed to have been opened as well. Everything seemed to be included in the box, however, I realized the charger is not an original samsung charger. According to the instructions, the light on the charger is supposed to turn off when the battery is charged. Being the first time charging, I knew it is going to take a while, but not nearly 24 hours. I don't think this knockoff charger they sent with the camera has the same properties as the original, which means I may have to buy a new samsung charger that is compatible with my camera...

I purchased a NEW logitech H-900 remote from Gadget Circuit on July 24 2013. I installed it for my customer and set everything up online using Logitech's registration. Things were great until I received a call from my client on June 27th telling me that the remote doesn't work any longer and Logitech said they couldn't cover it under their 1 year warranty because it was a refurbished remote. I then emailed Gadget Circuit since they were closed for the weekend. I waited a week with no response so I called and told them what Logitech had said. Their response was that it was a new unit and should be covered. I subsequently spent HOURS on the phone with Logitech to discover that the remote had 2 prior owners and was originally registered in May of 2012!! I was told to contact Gadget Circuit again and give them the reference number so that they could work together to come up with a solution. Well needless to say Gadget Circuit didn't care and wasn't going to do anything. They maintained that the remote was new and past their 90 day return period. I spoke with Logitech again and was told that management will not honor the warranty because it was refurbished and I was out of luck. This is a $300+ remote control and I have to replace it for my client because Gadget Circuit sold me something that was used and not covered under warranty. I should have researched the company before I made the purchase because I would have found out that they have had similar complaints from other clients. I will be pursuing every avenue possible to make sure everyone knows their business practices. I have my proof of purchase from Gadget Circuit, and I have proof of two prior owners initially dated May 15th 2012 which Logitech was kind enough to share with me. Below is the main body of the email I received from Logitech's executive. "Thanks for your feedback. [name] explained to me the situation, and per policy our remote's warranty only apply to the original purchaser. The issue is with Gadget Circuit claiming the remote is a brand new remote when they sold it to you. I am attaching a couple images from the tool we use to support customers. The tool shows that this remote was first connected prior to the date of your purchase. This is where [name] drew the conclusion that this is a refurbished remote. Logitech does not have an authorized refurbish program when you purchased this remote. My guess is that Gadget Circuit purchased this remote from a wholesaler who did their own refurbishing. Unfortunately, we have little control on how they market their remotes." In closing I urge customers to do your own research. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND PURCHASE FROM AN HONEST COMPANY!!

UPDATED 7-17-14: Company refunded my shipping charges due to the eight-day-late delivery. I thought that was all I would hear and figured it was the best to expect from this company. Gadget Circuit's customer service resolution team got in touch with me last week. I explained my serious frustration with their customer service and inability to get answers from the company. He said he would share my detailed experience with the company's customer service team. He also sent me a free camera case and SD card for my trouble. I'm glad at least one person at that company can demonstrate good customer service. ======================================================== You can count me as one very unhappy customer. I ordered an Olympus Stylus 1 camera on May 29. (Order # A2021842) When it became apparent, because of your “1-2 day order processing time” that it would not be shipped on time to reach me via 3-4 ground shipping, I called to ask that the shipping be upgraded to overnight. Your customer service people told me that for some reason you couldn’t do that. So on May 30, I cancelled my original order and placed a new one for overnight shipping. I never got any written confirmation either of the cancellation or of the new order. NOTHING. I called back again on Monday, June 2, and was told that yes my original order was cancelled and that the new one order would be processed by Tuesday, June 3, so that it would arrive to me by yesterday (June 4). I need it for an out-of-town trip that begins today. I asked the person on the phone to please email me a confirmation of the new order. NOTHING came. So then I call back on June 4 only to hear that you are CLOSED FOR TWO DAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK for “spring vacation.” Your website doesn’t track orders. I sign in to “My Account” and it shows me nothing. (In fact, even when I’m signed in, it says “Welcome Guest. Please sign in”) I have no way to contact you. No way to track my package. This is for a $600 order. I expect better service than this. I will never use your company again and will be sure that no one at my organization does either. This is totally unacceptable.

As many have reviewed, original submittal with CC failed, even after I double-checked all my entry data. They must have some sort of 'double secret probation' hidden key-code to get CC to work--I also missed the 1st email advising it failed because it went to my spam folder. So after hearing nothing for a Friday & a weekend, I fixed everything on a Tuesday after calling & being told either cancel or use Paypal, so I did Paypal with credit card link--no big deal. I asked since we delayed several days with snafu, could I escalate my shipping rate and they kindly checked my location, and said normal free shipping will still get there in 2-3 days. Camera arrived on Friday, excellent price, no damage, new item as promised. I'm not afraid to do business here again, best prices I've seen anywhere. I just think it's a very small operation and quirky website/CC issue is weird, but apparently not dangerous.

Fats shipping, great price and good customer service.
