I loved that Function health was easy to use. It did take quite some time to get results back and I need to add a test and can’t figure out how to. The site itself isn’t very user friendly but over the test was cheap and I was able to get bloodwork to talk to my doctor

It's a great service for people who distrust our current pharma-driven sickcare system. I've been spearheading my own journey to optimal health for nearly 20 years. There's no way insurance would cover the extensive bloodwork offered here. I'm looking forward to delving into the results in-depth. At first glance, I was very pleased. One small criticism: I was able to have the blood draws done at my own home. This was an incredible perk, but both times, the technician did not text that they were on their way and showed up near the end of the time window. The text would have been nice.

Everything was quick and easy. Results started coming in the next day with about 80% available within 2 weeks, but did take about 4 weeks for all of them. Only thing I wish they would offer is the ability to add prior data to better see trends. I uploaded a few old tests, but Function cant really do anything with them even though it clearly can read them.

I cannot say enough about Function Health! What a phenomenal experience - from the customer service to the actual experience. Easy to access and I feel more in charge of my health after completing this process. The insight is unmatched and I will definitely be continuing my membership.

Generally works well and gives useful insights and clinician summary. This past lab test had 2 issues. The first issue was my lab order was not immediately sent to the lab. I had a last minute opening in my schedule so ai went to the lab a few days before my scheduled appointment to do a walk in. Image my surprise and disappointment when the lab told me they didn’t have my order even though I ordered the test a few days earlier. Then to make it even worse it took several hours of back and forth email to get Function to send the lab order even with very, very clear instructions in my first customer service chat. Second issue is my clinician notes references old information I entered months ago and did not use more recent information I entered prior to the test and from my Apple Watch. (Body Weight). You need to make sure you are using most current info to draw conclusions in notes!

The tests are comprehensive; however, the results seem processed by AI rather than a human doctor. The recommendations included a list of foods to eat and avoid and recommended supplements as well as advice for discussing results with your primary doctor.
