I am so happy I am part of the hive. It has given me guidance and help through my health journey. It has given me a place to find the answers I need for my health questions.

I signed up for Function Health expecting access to lab testing as advertised. After enrolling, I discovered that there were no available testing locations in my area, which meant I couldn’t use the service at all. This limitation was not disclosed prior to payment. When I canceled, I received only a partial refund, even though no service was ever provided. Communication with customer support did not resolve the issue. I’m sharing this so others are aware to verify lab availability before signing up, as the company does not make this clear in advance.

The package seemed like a great deal, until Quest refused to run the tests because of an old debt I owed them from last year (in payment plan.) I've been dismissed from the lab twice because of the money I owed to Quest, even though I had paid lab slips in hand through Function. Function charged me for services they cannot provide because Quest isn't honoring their corporate agreement. I hate owing money, but I'm a uninsured, self employed single mom who is clinging to home ownership in Florida where the costs of living are phenomenal. And I have been very sick for two years. The medical system in this country is broken. And Function is taking advantage of this situation by collecting for services they refuse to provide. Just another corporation selling worthless services to disadvantaged people. I am so tired of being refused medical help from providers because I have no insurance. Getting someone from Function on the phone is impossible. Chat is AI and shallow. Emails are received and replied to, but just to say that there's nothing they can do - it's my problem to work out with Quest. That leaves me with a payoff of a $1400 quest lab bill in order to receive Function labs I ALREADY PAID FOR. There is no other lab partner here in Orlando, Florida where I live. So I don't get my critical labs done. EDIT: Replying to the Function update - I've dealt with you 4 times directly via chat on this. Phone, too. Nothing changes - every time I talk to someone you say the same thing - it's in writing in an email from support. "This is a problem between me and Quest and there's nothing you can do." You sold me services I cannot use. I canceled the membership today. This should be explained to people who sign up transparently.

Great offer for so many blood tests! Like abilities to review in 6 months. Good way to confirm past health history. Excellent analysis of findings. Would like reduced price offer to give as gift.

I started using Function a couple of years ago after mostly leaving the traditional health care model. For those who actively self-advocate and educate themselves about (real) health care (vs sick care) and longevity, there is no better alternative. The extensive biomarkers you can access and use to refine and improve your “healthspan” are unbeatable for the price.

I am so very grateful for Function Health! I have been part of the family for 2 years and my health is greatly improving! Their baseline blood panel delves deeper than traditional medical blood panels and identify the root cause for symptoms. It even uncovered potential heart risks that didn't even have any symptoms. I paid extra for genetic testing concerning Alzheimer's and MTHFR and now I'm no longer anxious in those areas. The doctor's reports are very helpful, identifying the 5 most important supplements for me individually as well as the best foods and worst foods for me. Now I spend money on what I need and save money by avoiding what I don't need. I'm taking less supplements now than what I used to and I feel better about what I am taking. I follow the recommendations and my health has improved every year! I can't wait until my next 6 month appointment! I have never said that about blood tests before!

My blood and urine were analyzed in July 2025. I received a detailed printout of the analysis of both as well as information pertaining to areas that need to be addressed. I was informed that I needed another blood draw in November 2025. I’ve reached out to your company several times to inquire when and where this should take place, but no one has responded back to me. I would like to verify that and schedule the next one. Also, prior to the blood draw in July, I don’t believe that anyone inquired about the medication’s that I was currently taking which included hormone replacement and over-the-counter vitamins. I think that information would’ve been helpful for the team before making suggestions for remediation in certain areas . Susan M
