Function dives pretty deep even at the basic level blood tests, to reveal where you are healthwise, and what could be improved.

For the most part, I think Function Health is great. They are thorough and provide a great summary of the health findings. What I found odd was that the very tests that came back out of range, where the exact tests I needed to pay extra for later in the year to have them re-evaluated. I don't think was explained up front, and they make it seem like what you pay for the service covers the same expanded battery of tests throughout the year of using the service. However, this isn't the case.

Excellent way to finally get a complete picture of your health. Supplement with confidence, not guesswork. See the changes you make based on the testing results and clinicians notes improve your markers. My phlebotomist said she has seen Function discover illness long before traditional medicine would have. The outcomes are much better when diagnosed early. I’m going to buy memberships for my adult children.

I am thankful for a pretty thorough lab order, seamless process of getting set up, scheduling & super quick turn around for results. 4 stars for 2 reasons: the female hormone panel is missing progesterone & estrone. These are a super important part of a full hormone assessment!! They should be included as well! Also because I was disappointed that Function Health goes by standard reference ranges. Being a "Functional Health" service, you should go by Functional Optimal Ranges. I had MANY labs that were far from optimal but according to the results were green, or "optimal". All in all, I liked the very thorough autoimmune, viral & allergy panel. Very helpful!

Everything about Function Health has exceeded my expectations. From price to booking to results, it is such a relief to have such a valuable resource. When I went in for my first set of labs, the phlebotomist said she and another staff member added up the cost of all of the labs if someone were to come in and pay regular prices. She said it was about $6k in labs that Function charges $499 for! Even the follow-up labs were quite extensive. And the physicians notes were as good or better than what I've received from local physicians. I cannot recommend Function Health enough, for everyone.
