Took forever to get results and once I did receive them. Got tested in January and received final result in March and only because I emailed customer service. I was under the impression that I would be reviewing my results with a medial provider. I was really looking forward to being a member year after year and subscribing my entire family but so far ititss not worth it.

The tests and console to access them is great. However, there is a few issues: The full amount does not qualify for HSA account expense, only about half. The “Clinician’s” feedback is AI generated (I tested it), you never speak to someone so who knows if there is a real person behind it. Feedback you get is very generic, at the end of the day they want you to talk to your doctor for more aggressive measures or more details in your results. I do like the test they choose and the platform hopefully they can work on pricing and alternatives to tackle your results other than “Improve your diet”

Beginning with the blood draw, with so many vials (14-16?), I had no residual effects. Results began to populate my chart within 2 days and continued until all were done. Very easy to read and understand the results with explanatory notes. The clinician's report was very instructive.

Rapid response to questions. Provided a though analysis of blood results with actionable plans for health improvement.

I learned more about my health ten I ever have and I am a retired health professional who has always paid attention to my health. Thank you!

I have had a very positive experience with Function. From the customer service to what they actually deliver I would recommend. As a very proactive advocate of my own health, I was very curious how I would like this style of health care. I have a lot to say: First, they make it very easy to know what to do. It is even more convenient if you live close to a lab. It is very easy to change appointments and the app is very user friendly. Results come quick and app keeps you informed. Customer service is above and beyond. I had an issue with scheduling my appointments within the small window I needed due to that time landing over a weekend. I emailed thinking I was just giving them some feedback. On a saturday within a couple hours they had reached back out to me and accommodated changing my lab schedule as requested. I just emailed the random email listed on the website and had zero expectation that a real person would read and/or respond. It allowed me to have more flexibility with when I could schedule the time-sensitive labs that didn't also coincide with the labs that needed to be fasting. As for the service itself, I think that since I have a good understanding of my health and health patterns and medical terms, it was very helpful. I feel like I have new goals and the information they give is allowing me to be proactive. I found the clinician report helpful, it is more helpful with the more detail you give in the health survey. However, if you aren't the same type of advocate or wanting to deep dive into some of the results, I would assume that it is a lot of information (too much?), hard to decipher if issues are more complex than just a high or low marker, and therefore harder to take the next step to be actionable. I really like the AI chat function. I will randomly be thinking about something and then go onto the app and ask. It is nice that is always available and the feedback is immediate. However, AI is not perfect. It has a hard time with results that are confusing and since humans are complex I found that with some of my more confusing results I had to dig deeper and ask the chat a lot of questions. I don't think everyone would notice this, and that's where I think a real clinician would be helpful. Even the clinician's notes didn't really address it. Lastly, I love that you can add on non-standard tests that might be hard to convince another health professional to order for you. Overall, I would recommend and will continue to use Function.

Easy in and out with testing and clear responses back from clinician. Next steps are easy to understand and adaptable.

The labs were easy to schedule and customer service was excellent when I had to reschedule. The clinician notes were incredibly thorough and personalized- really pleased with that part. I do wish that there were action steps included re: the markers that were out of range. Other than that, I’m very happy with my experience, felt it was a great value for what I got and will recommend to family and friends.
