Inexpensive way to get blood lab results to identify what is working and opportunities for improvement.

From my own research the pricing for the labs is very low compared to my doctors office. The information received via the app is directional and good to know but lacks action steps for improvement. I’m still trying to find a way to share my results with my doctor. My biggest complaint is the apoB test. If you listen to Dr Hyman’s podcast he often says it’s the most important lab test of all. However, after my mid year labs I learned that it was not included. Apparently you have to pay extra for it. If it’s the most important test shouldn’t it be included in the $365? Now I have to reschedule, fast and drive 2 hrs round trip to have it done. At this point I’ll just wait until next year!

I love the app and the fact that I can see more bookmarked to u destined how I am doing. I like that I can use my regular Quest lab.

The Functions testing was easy to complete, even for an older person like myself. Having the code to type in at the Quest Lab check in kiosk made that part smooth. (When one pays online you get the code.) The results arrive quickly and are easy to read and explain a bit about each result, if you click on them. The only thing I found a bit difficult was remembering how to print my results. I took my results to an independent preventive doctor with a list of questions and that was a positive experience, too.

Nonsense results. I took it all to my doctor, gave it to Claude and they were dubious. Nevertheless I took the supplements they recommended - Bo change. So I stopped paying attention. A year after signing up - with no advance warning - they charged me again. Sneaky, but that’s what untrustworthy businesses do.

I really liked how the analysis of my results connected the dots. It looked at my past medical history, my reported symptoms and current health, and all the results in a way that my primary medical provider probably doesn't have the time to do. Way more informative than my annual physical. Thank you!
