Easy quest appt process. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Results started coming in next day and very detailed with clear clinical notes.

In general, I love function health. I have purchased it for my wife, son and daughter. I had 1 disappointing experience. Function recommended red yeast rice to help lower my LDL cholesterol. I did so and it worked great. Unfortunately, they did not mention that the active ingredient is the same as in Novostatin. So I was unknowingly taking a statin which I absolutely want to avoid. I developed muscle soreness typical of statin use and looked into it more deeply. I immediately stopped using it. Function should warn people if they recommend something with the same chemical makeup as a prescription drug.

The level of detail and number of biomarkers are incredible. I’ve had blood work done many times but never to this depth and have never had all the information of what it all means if it’s high or low or what the effects would be. This is an incredible service, tremendous value and has helped me find issues I had that I didn’t know existed.

Communication was great on the website and app. Loved the reminders about week, 3 days before, 1 day before the test. I also like that it was easy to see the new results and the review once everything was completed. The only thing I wish I could do is be able to print my protocols and my test results to give to my doctor. It says I need to control print but it doesn't work. Overall - great experience and feel I'm giving information to improve my health and wellbeing.

I am grateful for the comprehensive and thorough blood and urine work that was completed and for the thorough written summary I received. I know that my standard Dr. would never run and analyze all of these important tests. I'm also grateful for the EASE with which you organized the testing and getting the results. However, I felt like the service just drops off instantly after you send the results and now I'm just getting lots of emails advertising for more tests... it is causing me to worry that the push for more tests is just to make money on us; because if you would have read my results; you would know there was nothing that indicated a need to send me an email promoting an $822 MRI full body scan. Emails suggesting additional testing should be targeted and not just blasted out to everyone who ever took the original test. The original application for testing gave us a lengthy list of all of the possible testing you can help us get done, and I know what's available from that initial presentation should I decide I'd like to have more testing completed. Also the written notes are lengthy and very technical. I had a very hard time understanding some of them and the summary needs to be brought down to laymen's terms. Also, I thought I was going to get an opportunity to visit with a Dr. or someone that would help me create a plan going forward; instead all I got was "Ask your Dr what you should do" or "this should be further evaluated".. there was no clear recommendation on how to further evaluate certain results. What are the steps to evaluate that further?? Also, I sent a chat question asking some of these types of questions, and never got a response. I feel like overall.. this Function testing took me half way and then just dropped me and implied "Good luck working with your Dr at home"... whom we know probably will just scoff at these results as not important.
