This is such a rip off and i've lost so much transacting with them, how come i owe taxes to funds i can't even access, ridiculous taxes and support has offered no explanation as to an alternative option so i couldn't use my funds for weeks until pandrex.co extracted them. ftx can simply not be trusted and it remains to be seen how they plan to pay other users in my position

FTX.us is a company of thieves. They take their fee when you purchase crypto but won’t allow you to transfer the crypto outside of their system. It’s a joke. Be careful with this company. They will steal from you. Their customer support answers no questions and does nothing but stall. I have the screenshots of customer support conversations and I will share them with whoever wants to see them.

Their support is almost non existent. They had funds deposited by wire transfer for more than 5 hours, even acknowledged receipt and still didn't get them credited to my account. They're are more reliable options out there - DYOR

Worst experience with their customer service .

As long as you keep money in their system, things seem to go ok-ish. Once you want to move your money to another exchange or to your bank account, problems suddendly begin. Forget about them.

They let me earn big bucks, then When I wanted to withdraw, they said I own taxes on all the money not the money I was withdrawing. The taxes were more than my original investment. Figure that.

Everyone got frauded, including people who we thought know finance, luckily I was able to pull most of my money out except for $200.00 (thank you Ben from BitBoy for your warning) Update 09/01/2022 Finally am able to withdraw but not until a lengthy process of Identity, what the point of KYC anyways updating this from 1 star to 3 Well where to start first It won't connect with my bank, which is funny b/c Coinbase has no issues, Uphold has no issues, Gemini has no issues and Crypto.com has no issues with my bank only FTX( and is a national big bank too). no help with depositing cash they suggested a transfer but days could cost me thousand of dollars but... fine whatever. However now I cant even withdraw my USD (Fiat) keep saying validation Issues contact support.....how many time do I have contact support is my money and it belongs to me..... this is Cleary a scam just stick with Coinbase or Uphold. I will update if anything happens

Spent a week trying to regain manageable access to my account. Here's the breakdown of what's happened so far.. I've been trading for months on FTX without issue, then suddenly in on July, 3rd, a moment when there would be predictable volatility, I have a withdraw cancelled by FTX for KYC Rejection. This rejection also locked me out of all management of my funds on FTX effectively locking my assets on FTX. I spent 2 days resolving the Identity Verification through the sites support system. Received email notification from FTX that my support ticket had been updated and I need only sign back into my account to resume account management. But not so fast... When I attempted to sign back into my account my client had been locked into read only mode and 2FA was disabled. Are you starting to get the picture? 2 more days with a new support ticket facilitated by a support only code log in, they enable my 2FA. So now we're 5 days into this lockout FTX support has once again notified me via email that my new support ticket has been update and 2FA has been enabled. But wait... Although I can access my account using my 2FA once again, the account is still locked in Read-Only Permissions. I am now on support ticket 3 requesting they remove the Read-Only restrictions from my account. I have some experience with site management and recognize a slow walk denial process when I see it. No one is this incompetent. Ultimately trust and reliability of service is the priority asset of any exchange, regardless of leverage. You engage in obvious shady activity people will find a alternative more trustworthy. On 07/10/22 FTX Official Support banned my telegram account after requesting info on how to initiate a manual withdraw of my funds on the exchange. "Guess I asked the wrong question." xD I hope your experience is better than mine. It could have been much worse I've been north of 5 digits in assets on this exchange but I think they are sensitive of infractions beyond what might be considered legally actionable. No one will sue for less than 5K. Update: 07/20/22 Received notice: Your FTX US account has completed level 2 identify verification. You can log into your etc. Was told that my account had violated FTX.US Terms of service and gave me 72hours to withdraw my funds to my bank account before my account would be permanently closed. Here's the beauty of it. My account is not authorized to do withdraws on their end and I am blocked from creating a support ticket. These folks managing accounts in LA couldn't hit water if they were pushed in a pool. Morons! UPDATE: 07/25/22 3 long weeks into this waste of time and aggravation it appears they have FINALLY released my assets. The funds are not yet in my bank account, but the withdraw executed on the site. Usually takes 2 days to show and I will update here once it does. Fingers crossed. UPDATE: 07/25/22 Funds arrived in the bank! I will leave this review in place and my journey to regain access to my funds as a reference for those who are experiencing similar difficulties with FTX.US and their support. Although FTX finally did release my funds, the entire 3 week journey was completely unnecessary and incredibly stressful. The mindset of the support staff to actively silence customers on the social media platforms they administrate is negligent and destructive to the relationship FTX shares with its customers and at the customers expense. FTX.US is not above the law in spite of their extensive effort to reduce liability through their Terms Of Service.
