Featherlite TrailersReviews of fthr.com

I custom ordered a 4926 thru my local dealer. After many months of waiting with no updates or confirmed delivery I finally went to pick it up to find some special order requests were ignored or done incorrectly. I needed the trailer so I accepted it as is. Although not exactly what I ordered, the trailer is fantastic.

Had a great experience getting a trailer and getting extra add ons. McMahan Enterprises took good care of us.

perhaps I expected too much. at the price paid and for the 5 months I waited i would think some of featherlites' experience would have resulted in a really outstanding product and purchasing experience. not so much. I expected, since I provided accurate measurements, that the 6 different cars I might load from time to time would fit without damaging car or trailer. not so much. I expected the air conditioner to actually cool the interior of the insulated interior. td of only 8f should have been anticipated by the manufacturer and discussed. not so much. I ordered the trailer with a factory installed generator. is that how it arrived at the dealer? not so much. non slip floors, 110v receptacles to be able to use generator, generator exterior door hold open latch (generator shuts off over temp if door not open), curb side step to enter raised floor interior. not so much. would it hurt featherlite to hold a new customers hand and think through some of these things? not so much. very disappointed.

Bought a Featherlite cattle trailer in April. Very happy with our purchase. Had a good experience with sales staff. Very accommodating , knowledgeable & genuinely interested in meeting our needs. In June, we had a need for a utility trailer. The first thought was go to Featherlite ! We purchased our second trailer and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Featherlite trailers.

The team here are both professional, prompt in returning calls and getting your questions resolved. They were a pleasure to deal with and I don't say that about many companies left out there today. I would drive that four hour trip anytime to buy a product from them just because of the way they do business. And I will say I usually wouldn't take the time to rate a company or business but this one deserves it. Jim Richmond, Charleston, S.C.

I could not be happier with my purchase.

Being an older woman, I am having a hard time opening the doors. It dose pull very good with my truck and having a new trailer is a good feeling. I have hauled both horses and cattle in it. But have just had it out three times so far.

I purchased a 2015 2 horse bumper pull. Well made trailer and easy to pull. My only reserves are with the tie rings. There are several to choose from on the inside but are lower than what I prefer. I like the higher tie rings that are head height. I had to purchase new shorter tie straps so my horses couldn't reach their partner. My other concern are the outside tie rings. They look awesome but have sharp square cut edges. I would like to see a smoother rounded tie ring on the outside. Especially for having a younger horses learning to tie to a trailer. Overall though I love my trailer and would recommend Featherlite in the future.
