List of discrepancies found with our brand new trailer upon pickup at the dealer are as follows: -Marker light did not work and we found that it had no continuity to ground. -Scene light had a pinched gasket and each of the scene lights have one of the mounting screws stripped out. -Fan control holder mounted crooked -Final cleaning was sub-par -Vise grips left on chassis -Battery box door not square with box -Powder coat flaking off angle iron -Rust on fairlead and in winch box -Decent size scratch in upper right outside corner -Many aluminum welds were inconsistent and lesser quality than I had expected. Finally, I would offer this to Featherlite: When you are buying “the best” and it’s brand new you should get quality workmanship with attention to detail, not just good enough. It is important to get the little things right because if you can’t get the little things right you will never get the big things right. Regards Darren Wassmus

When I purchased the trailer the latch on the camper door had to be fixed when I got home bc it wouldn’t stay shut. It’s already has stuff that is falling apart. The plastic on the screens is cheap and one has broken already for being a new trailer it sure seems like it wasn’t put together very well. I love how light it is but not sure if I made the right choice to buy this kind of trailer. I’m disappointed in a few things that have happened already!!

You should put a jack on all trailers.

The doors for the hidden ramps are not done correctly in my opinion. And the butt crimping wiring very poorly done .. I have almost had to repair every connection.. disappointing for sure . Don’t know if my next trailer will be one of yours ..

VERY difficult to find a Featherlite Trailer dealer who ACTUALLY has Featherlite trailers IN STOCK. Everybody wants to take your money and "place an order with the factory". Then, you wait up to four months to get your trailer. In the rare event you find a dealer with trailers in stock, forget about getting accessories (tool box, air dam etc). Other non-Featherlite accessories recommended by the dealer may NOT work with a Featherlite trailer.

8 ft. wide 2 horse trailer ordered in April but didn't get here until June. Then I realized that the horse divider is too long to leave open and be able to shut the door. My agent has said that Featherlike will send a telescoping divider for $1,000.00+. Why should I have to pay $1,000.00+ to rectify the design flaw. A telescoping divider should have been in the trailer when I bought it. This trailer was new - $18,500.00 - and I really don't think I should have to pay for an additional divider that will work in this trailer. Robin Holm Sisters, Oregon

Nice Trailer! Seems well built and light weight. Has the larger capacity axle and bearings and Al rims which I really like. When I purchased the trailer, it was covered with pine sap which is still there and almost impossible to remove, kinda sucks when you purchase something new $4k. Also, the dealer took me for everything I was worth. I purchased lug nuts and the charged me over $4 per nut plus delivery! The wheel knock-outs (axle covers) we $20 each! My own fault for not paying attention. Should of got them for free when I purchased the Al rims $264.
