Finally steeped up to the plate and bought the trailer I've been wanting for years. Everyone complements me everywhere I take it too.

After hearing rave reviews for years about Featherlites, we decided to spend the extra money and get one. The two foot lift system is "auto leveling". Really? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, (there is only 1 button involved), but it always come to rest sloping from side to side. If I park on a flat spot it is not a problem. I'll try to reserve a flat spot next time. The dealer has been less than helpful with my inquiries about the system. Also, we have been disappointed with the trim. Somehow water got on the trailer floor, and the trim swelled up and split. Not a good look for a new, expensive trailer. I am pretty sure the dealer installed the spring for the trailer ramp upside down. It left sharp steel rods (the ends of the springs) pointing out from the base of the ramp (with the ramp in the up position). They originally stuck out about 2 1/2 inches. This would have left several sharp ends to tear legs on (ours and the horses). I had the dealer cut off the ends, but had the springs been installed right side up, there would have been no problem. The dealer assured me that the springs were installed correctly. If that were the case, this was one of the worst engineering jobs I've seen in a long while. All that said, we like the trailer. However, the particle board trim will haunt us forever, or until we sell.

Camp-site dealer great to work with. Trailer works as needed to haul car and 4 wheelers behind motorhome.

3110-14' model. the only concern i have is the security/storage of the drive-up ramps of my trailer. there is no way to lock them in the storage area. i'll be welding a hasp onto door for some security. other than that the trailer is perfect.

If your looking for a car/toy hauling trailer, you will be very satisfied with a Featherlite trailer. I viewed several other brands of aluminum trailers and found Featherlite in my opinion to be extremely well designed, braced, welded and very well detailed. The wiring front to back is run through rubber grommets through the framing to prevent any chances of rub through and shorting. As the Featherlite name brand in my opinion is like the Cadillac of trailers, it should have a very good resale value when it comes time to sell it.

I just purchased my third LQ Featherlite trailer. Boy, they have come a long ways in the LQ department. This company is great to deal with. If you need any questions answered or part replacements they are on it. For me, it is comforting to know that this company will be around for the life of my trailer.

Happy with my purchase. The trailer has the features I wanted / needed for my ranch work. The things that could be better are mostly some finishing touches. The door latch handles could have rounded edges. Also the roll pins that hold the springs in place for the sliding doors. Were all too small. I had to replace them with the proper diameter right away as they were falling out. It would sure make you feel like you bought the best, if the details are looked after.
