Frost Bank has gone to the dogs....and by seeing the reviews of 2.0 and less this is a waste of my time and my Wed morning is going to be spent in the Tanglewood lobby of Frost bank airing my complaint of being on the Frost 24/7 line, on hold for 20 min only to be cut off as i assume poor training to work the phone!!!! to resolve a erroneous charge to my checking account. Frost has gotten weak over the years and screwed up my IRA account and that problem never got resolved as there are inexperienced 20 year old running the Tanglewood branch and its not going to be pretty with my problem being aired at the front desk with one of my famous 20 minute filibusters guaranteed to run off customers. Again customer service died several years ago at Frost Bank but at least their employees have a dress code. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and its not going to get any better based on my experience.

Frost restricted access to my funds after I deposited two checks and transferred money from another account that I own. Customer service repeatedly told me that only one assigned manager could decide whether to release my funds. I returned the manager’s call, and customer service also attempted to contact her and sent her a message. Despite my repeated calls, I have not received a resolution, a definite timeline, or access to another decision-maker. My concern is not that Frost is reviewing the transactions. My concern is that access to my money apparently depends on one unavailable employee, with no clear escalation process.

From the moment I walked into Frost Bank on Nolana, I realized this was not just another bank. There is something different about the way they treat their customers. From the moment you arrive, someone welcomes you, listens to what you need, and directs you to the right person without wasting your time. Even something as simple as opening an account was handled with a level of efficiency and speed that I had never experienced before. Whether your needs are personal or business-related, their team is there to help. You never feel like you are just another customer. In fact, I believe they have created an environment where every customer is made to feel important and valued. The atmosphere is different from what I have experienced at many traditional banks—fresh, efficient, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, some banks still operate in a way that feels outdated, with long waits and very little personal attention. Frost has shown me that banking can be completely different. I especially want to recognize Abner Gudino, Ailynn Galvan, and Gisela Garcia for their outstanding attention, professionalism, and willingness to help us with our banking needs. More importantly, they have helped us move forward and accomplish important goals, both professionally and personally. Thank you to the entire Frost Bank Nolana team for making every interaction feel personal and for reminding us what excellent customer service should look like. You have earned not only our business, but also our trust.

I will never do business with this clown show again. Trying to get a loan caught up after an issue and they remove access to it until it is caught up. Um. How do you pay without access? How do you see what is due? lol

I had been banking with Frost for 2 years and had a fraud deposit trying to post to my account in December 2025 and was told by the fraud department Richard Manning that if it happened again, they would close my account I am 72 years old and yes, I did give my banking account number because I thought the company was legit. I lost my husband in 2025 was married for 55 years and it has been very hard trying to make ends meet and on July 20, 2026, I had someone trying to post checks to my account and Frost did not call to ask me about them they just put a freeze on my account and when i called they said someone would call me and yes again it was fraud and I told the scammers I did not want the loan and the said okay they would cancel it and Mr. Manning said since I did not call Frost to tell them about it he closed my account and told me my relationship with them was canceled since it happened again, I tried to explain that I told them I did not want the loan and I did not know I had to let Frost know I suspected it was fraud. Other banks call the customer if they suspect fraud, I tried to tell him the reason I was trying to get a loan was because I have to have eye surgery, but he did not seem to care. I told him I asked Frost for a loan or a small line of credit, and both was denied. If you don't have thousands in your account with Frost they don't care about you and if you have brown skin. Worst fraud department people I have ever delt with. I told him my social security check comes there every month, and he said I need to get another bank to handle it. I tried pleading with him but he said no.

Two weeks into opening our account we experienced fraudulent charges. We were just notified by mail of a major data breach that exposed among other things our social security numbers and other sensitive information. Their lack of phone numbers to reach branches directly is frustrating, especially given the convoluted phone tree and unreliable and inconsistent customer service when or if you ever speak to a live person. I had to physically go to a random branch to inquire about converting a loan to a fixed rate loan and was told they would have to outsource it and that someone would call me within two business days. That was a month ago and no one has called. It also takes anywhere from 5-7 business days for a simple fund transfer. Frost is not a reliable banking option. I recommend you do NOT do business with Frost.
