I have used this service for years and it has been generally reliable. In the past few months, the service has been AWFUL. I order for delivery between 10-12 am. They show up at 7:15 without apology because it fits their delivery schedule better since there are so many orders in my building. Was told this would not recur. And it just did. I understand there are worker shortages. But if you will not honor delivery slots, do not offer them

They hassle you everyday to try their business and will not remove your number and keep calling. BE WARNED if you want persistent calls then contact Fresh Direct. SCAMMERS

Too many plastic bags, can’t recycle the delivery bags and too expensive! Their proposed solution of donating them is good for getting one more use out of them but it is still putting more plastic into the system. There are better eco friendly delivery services available. I’m sad, I used to love fresh direct but they are loosing customers. We need different environmentally safe solutions.

I was sent to work there as a driver by my local agency, upon arrival at 6:30am they told me I should have been there at 8am. I was told I was a spare driver and that I had a long wait ahead of me, eventually 3 hours later a lady called Sam introduced herself and told me they might not have any work for me. During those 3 hours of waiting they could of trained me on the PDA's put me in the warehouse or something more constructive, but no. The company is run so inefficiently and I heard all the complaints from the customers coming in every 10 minutes or so, you should of heard the staff comments after the phone was put down, oh and the lies to the customers.. .ouch! The main guy in the office, Peter, was having cigarette breaks every 15 minutes. I was not paid for my services that day either, so avoid as an employer and avoid as a supplier! You have been warned!

Fresh direct has been wonderful! Love the selection, the site is easy to navigate & there are some good deals depending on what you buy. Also I absolutely love that they carry good bagels. Out of my 5-10 purchases only one item was missing, and it was easy to mark it missing and got a credit without a problem.

Just canceled my service forever. They do not accommodate delivers. Their employees are argumentative and they regularly break or forget things. Love the idea, but no reason for it if we have to go to the grocery store anyway.

Placed an order for delivery 1pm day before Christmas. Truck shows up with 1 small bag containing 10% of our order - all essential items missing. Called them and they insisted that the missing items were on another truck on its way and would be to us by 9pm. All lies. Never showed up. Useless company. Do not use or trust them.

The reheat pre-roasted turkey was the moistest ever. The price $229 for a very large dinner with 8 fantastic sides is almost a gift. Highly recommended!
