First sensor fell off within 2 hrs. Company is too cheap to provide an alcohol cleaning wipe like they used to. Constantly loosing signal and having to put the phone to my arm all the time to get reading. The Libra 2 was painful enough to use. Libre 3 is worse. No thanks. I’ll take my money back

I've been using CGMs for 2 plus years, so an experienced user. For all of 2025 I used Dexcom which was supported by my insurance. This year I switched back to Freestyle Libre 3 plus and I have had a horrible experience. Four sensors have turned out to be complete duds. Three of them have crazy changes in their readings - as an example today my brand new sensor is swinging from 69 to 100 to 80 to 140 to 111 to 135 to....you get the drift. It's driving me nuts. I've had one sensor that showed 30-50 points lower most of the time. I'd wake up in the middle of the night with low glucose alarm only to prick my finger and find out that this was totally a false alarm. I complained to customer support and asked for a replacement - so far I have had all requests denied. How did Abbott get this FDA approved?? I think FDA should review it. This is a terrible product.

Kunne jeg give 0 stjerner gjorde jeg det har brug for libre 2 + sensor til min insulinpumpe, men det er svært at køre regelmæssig regulering, når jeg nu over tre dage har mistet tre sensorer, der falder af efter en!time og så skal jeg vente en ny time før de kan aflæses! Ydermere mister de konstant forbindelsen til min insulin pod. Sensorerne kan absolut ikke tåle havvand!! og tåler ferskvand dårligt. Dette har været et tilbagevendende problem med abbots sensorer i årevis. Underligt at der godt kan laves en insulin )pod der sidder fast under alle forhold også hav- og ferskvand, men ikke en glukose sensor.

The sensors always fall off, or give me an error message to remove immediately. Company is the worst, customer service is horrible. They should be replacing sensors that fall off and have to be removed, no questions. I, like many people have insurance and only get 2 a month. If something happens, I'm out of sensors. I am going to try another Company to see if they're sensors will be compatible with my pump. I have never experienced anything like this before. If your looking at sensors, do not get a freestyle. You will be sorry.

Der Sensor ist absolut unzuverlässig und fällt viel zu oft aus. Von sechs Sensoren musste ich drei zurück schicken, weil sie ohne ersichtlichen Grund ihren Dienst quittierten. Zudem ist die Abweichung von meinem Echtblut-Messgerät (Accu Check) absolut inakzeptabel. Libre 3 zeigt z.b. 90mg, der Echtwert ist 135mg i. Kapillarblut (mit verschiedenen Geräten verifiziert). Einfach überteuerter Schrott, den Abott in China produzieren lässt. Never again!

I absolutely hate my libre 3. It was fine at first but 90% of the time it doesn't give me a reading. Ive fell into a hypo twice and a hyper numerous times. Im trying to get a change. The connection dips out need to reinstall it, twice a week at least. My sons is exactly the same. We never get enough to last us !!!

I have been using this kind of sensor for more than 6 months already and I cannot remember of any one time that the sensor gave me accurate results. I still have to prick my fingers and do the manual way just to make sure that I'm gettin better results. I called the customer service of the manufacturer to report my complaints. First complaint resulted to replacement. After a week or two,Second complaint, another replacement. All of the replacements gave me bad results just the same. I called the customer service again (after a few weeks) to report the issue and the woman who answered me was so rude and hanged up on me. Since then, I stopped calling them and just bit my lips as I have no choice but just to use them as just a reference or "guesstimate" only. Sensor gives a result leading to a discrepancy as high as 35 points which is really unbelievable. You cannot trust this product because it's so unreliable. You still have to prick your fingers using the manual way if you want a more accurate result. I don't recommend this product. It's dangerous and scary. The authorities should do something about it. Customer Cervice is the worse.

I wore the Freestyle Libre sensor 2, not the 2+ but the sensor 2 for four years with no problems. Then Abbott discontinued this product. I started wearing the Freestyle Libre sensor 3+ in January of 2026. The sensor 3+ is a horrible product. I don't think I've ever worn one for the full 15 days. The sensor either falls off prematurely or I have to take it off, because it is painful, and I can feel the needle every time I moved my arm or lay on the sensor. Another problem I have with the sensor 3+ is that it will stop sending signals to the sensor reader days before I need a new sensor. The reader will say."sensor not found,start a new sensor". The sensor 3+ also gives me incorrect readings. The alarm on my reader will say my glucose is 63 but when I do a fingerstick, my glucose is 108. Because I've had so much trouble with the sensor 3+, I have stopped using it. I'd rather stick my finger then deal with the Freestyle Libre sensor 3+.
