I was initially impressed with the constant feedback and it immediately helped me to change my eating habits. However after only 7 days the sensor fell out and I got a minor infection where the probe had been. I would happily continue to use the sensors if I could be assured they would stay in place but at the price point they currently are it’s too expensive for only 7 days.

I am pre-diabetic and over the past few months I have experienced increased heart rate even when resting. I spoke with my doctor about this and we wondered if my pre-diabetic condition could be causing my elivated heart rate. M To eliminate pre-diabetes as a cause of the heart rate problem I bought a FreeStyle continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to monitor my blood glucose constantly. The problem is that the CGM keeps disconnecting from my iPhone. Abbott FreeStyle know about this problem but don’t tell prospective customers ahead of their order.

I love the libre 3 plus vs the libre 2. The only problem is have experienced with both is that they fall off within 7-10 days. I even tried using skin tack and still it only makes it maximum of 10 days. What i will say is the customer service is amazing and when I make a claim they send a new one and I have it within 3 days.

I give Freestyle Libre 3 stars because the Libre 2 is a pretty good sensor other than you have to scan to check your reading. Now the Libre 3 is a whole different story. The Libre 3 is probably the worse sensor is the history of sensors. If it stays on, you will lose signal every 2 to 3 hours, requiring you to restart your phone. If you're thinking of going with a Libre sensor, opt for Libre 2.

Los sensores freestyle de la casa abbot, un engaño que puede comprometer seriamente la vida de las personas. Mi experiencia ha sido muy negativa. De los tres sensores que he llevado, los tres me han dado falsas hipoglucemias con valores de hasta 30mg/dl inferiores a la prueba en sangre. Me parece muy frustrante y decepcionante que un laboratorio como Abbot pueda llegar a tener estos errores después de quejarnos tantas veces. Estamos hablando de la salud de las personas, por favor. Que hagan algo!!!!

I used libre freestyle for 1 months amd it was fantastic, I couldnt fault it. I replaced my 2nd and the problems started. It gave me 3.4 reading after a meal for it to fall to 2.9 i was in such a panic I couldn't drive I had to be taken to family so I could use their blood monitor. My bloods showed they where 8.5 I swapped the sensor for another one amd still the same happened. Its such a shame because after the first 2 working fine its such a disappointment these are not now working. I dont think its the sensor I think its the app. Even when the app shows me at 4.5 amd above the app graph still sits in below the red line. Customer services are really good. I hope this fault can be fixed.

I have the libre2, and it seems ok. It’s frustrating that it does not log low glucose events if they don’t last longer that 15 minutes. Easy to apply and sticks well to my arm. In 30c weather, it did come off. I filled in a form online and after I spoke to a CSR I was sent a new one. The display should show exact times when looking at highs and lows. There seems to be an adjustment period when first applied. I was turning of low alarms quite a bit in the beginning of my latest libre2 (I am on my third now) so I checked with my finger prick glucometer. For the first 18 hours the Libre2 showed 2 mmols points lower than my contour glucometer. That’s quite significant when you’re down to 3.5. It seemed to adjust after that. The range could be longer too. I seemed to be looking at “signal loss” quite often. Keep your phone with you people! I am going to continue using this product and would recommend it.
