Horrible product. 2 of the 3 last sensors prematurely shut itself down and required a new sensor to continue glucose monitoring. The product had been prescribed by my veterinarian for my cat. The product did not fall off or get dislodged in any way. The product itself did a shutdown after internal quality checks. The first sensor lasted the full 15 days. The second less than 2 days and the third lasted about 7 days. Since the sensors cost almost $100 each, I contacted the customer service department at the company but was told they do not warranty the product for use on animals, and would not offer a refund or replacement. Subsequent research shows premature shutdowns are quite common; regardless of whether used on animals or humans. Would NEVER recommend this product for any use!!!

In my opinion, the Libra 3 is not ready for use.I switched from Libre 2 on the advice of my endocrinologist.Huge mistake.Although the Libre 2 had some faults, the Libre3 was disastrous The first two sensors did not work at all the third replacement worked for 4 days with no logging ability at all and no ability to adjust alert sounds for high and low readings. The service I received by phone was dismissive, challenging and rude.in the end telling me that they were working on improvements. THE fourth attempt lasted 15 days but with only intermittent readings and no ability to log and thus obtain accurate long term readings.I have switched back to Libra2.The Libre3 is not ready for public use ,especially with the many advanced claims made by an overzealous marketing campaign Shame on you for putting this product on the market. The only positive thing I can say as a diabetic ofx52 years is that it is smaller.

I have had 7 sensors fail. Low readings throughout the night wake me up. I sleep sitting up due to spinal stenosis so I am not sleeping on the sensor. The reader is within 3 feet. Blood draw show 40mg/ dl differential. 119 versus 69. Throughout the day I cannot trust the readings to be accurate.

All instructions are focused on using a smart phone. As my smart phone is not compatible with the system I need to use the reader. There are no instructions how tu do a reading with the reader. The alarm feature is a jo9ke. You don't hear the alarm when the reader is in your pocket. After using the reader for 3 days I got a message "LOW BATTERY".i was told the reader needs to be charge 3 hours every 3 days. Well. today, after 2 days I got the message "LOW BATTERY".

Libre is the best! Libre sensor is very good and very useful. Faulty sensors are replaced immediately. You say Dexcom is better? No. Dexcom curstomer service is horrible : they do not believe you and charge you for everything.
