DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FREEDOM FOREVER! I signed up in Sept and canceled shortly after. They had received the loan from the bank already (3days after I signed). Nothing was done on my house or towards the project. They refuse to cancel it saying it takes 90 business days. We'll now we are far past 90 business days and they still won't cancel it and give the money back to the bank. This has lowered my credit score and I will soon be responsible for payments on something that I never received. I'm about to get legal advise. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

I’m dealing with a failed inverter, two months of downtime, higher utility bills, and a refund rate ($0.110/kWh) that’s far less valuable than promised—turns out they touted a $0.100/kWh cost but buried the refund terms. The contract is heavily weighted in Sunrun’s favor, and I’ve regretted it ever since. On the positive side they came out and replaced my inverter within two business days which i hear is a miracle and i do appreciate that. I'm more upset with the hidding fixed rate for underproduction in the contract of ($0.110/kWh).

I have reached out to Freedom Forever several times to address some issues, but I am getting frustrated because no one is following through. She gave me your email to see if you could help. The issue that I have is that I get a different person every time I contact Freedom Forever. Then when I do speak to someone, I get a promise that the issues will be resolved and someone will contact me. But no one ever contacts me. I feel like this company has abandoned me. There have been several promises that have not been kept. This is very unprofessional. Especially the lack of communication and follow through.  Here are the issues that I would like to be resolved. First off, I have been paying both the loan payment and the electric bill with PG&E at the same time since it took overly long to get PTO. According to the contract, I should not be paying for both. Secondly, our representative Anthony promised me $500 for the inconvenience of the process going way over the original time frame given. I have never received any money from Freedom Forever. I have the correspondence for that promise still. Thirdly, when the company was installing the solar panels, they drilled large bolts through the roof that went all the way through the eaves. They left plastic and packaging material in my rain gutters, thank goodness we noticed before the storms came. And while installing the powerwall, a worker said “to find the studs, they just drill into the wall until they find one.” They left several holes in my siding on my house. They left so much damage to my home. I have been completely ignored by my sales rep as soon as installation happened. They didn’t even service my battery at the time of install I had to pay someone to come out and do it after I had PTO from pge because nobody would answer my calls. Today was the first response I have received now saying they don’t have proof that I have called to complain about these issues.

My HOA blocked me from putting up solar panels so my project with Freedom Forever was cancelled nearly a year ago. Yet I still cannot get the company to confirm as much with Mosaic, the third party lender. Mosaic has reached out to them multiple times, I've had 3 agonizing calls with their support team, numerous emails to my project specialist have all gone unanswered, even a text to the initial sales rep unanswered too. Mosaic tells me I owe them payments starting in February for a project THAT NEVER TOOK PLACE. I did NOT receive solar panels. I'm getting close to pursuing legal action, the level of unprofessionalism at this company is starting to make me suspect actual malicious intent. IT'S BEEN NEARLY A YEAR of me trying to get them to just confirm with Mosaic that the loan is cancelled!

I purchased $60,000 worth of solar panels from this company about a year and a half ago. The installation crew was great. That is the only good thing about this company. They lied during their sales pitch. They misled us thinking that the panels would produce a certain amount of electricity when the guarantee was only for actually 85% of what they promised, the panels consistently underperform. It has gotten to the point where I have filed two complaints with the Rhode Island state Attorney General‘s office regarding their poor business, practice and lack of accountability in unwillingness to standby their product. I have contacted them several times to get explanations as to why some panels are producing efficiently and some are not. I was told that because they don’t see a problem on their end, they’re not gonna send someone out to replace the under performing panels Even though the panels around the broken ones are working fine. They keep insisting that it’s a sun angle issue and not a problem with their product if anyone reads this, please do not sign a contract with this company. I would rather make my own electricity than get anything from this company ever again they are the worst to deal with the worst to get anything done they should be ashamed of themselves for how they conduct business.

I strongly advise anyone considering working with Freedom company to do their due diligence and thoroughly research their reputation before signing a contract. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, dealing with what seems to be the most incompetent staff and the most careless customer service. For over six months, I have been struggling with a broken inverter, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I continue to receive the same vague responses and endless delays. The company sent a technician twice, only to discover that they had ordered parts from a company that doesn't even exist. When the part failed to arrive, they provided me with the phone number of the non-existent company and suggested I deal with them directly. I've been working with Petr Leus on this matter, but all I hear are empty promises like, "We are working on it" or "You will receive a call about it this week." Weeks go by with no progress, and yet I am still paying nearly $200 per month for solar panels that aren't working and 100% for electricity. No one calls me back, and no technician has come to fix the issue. Forget about any reimbursement. Every time I call, I'm put on hold for hours and then given yet another number to call with no resolution in sight. I am incredibly frustrated with this lack of accountability and professionalism. Do not make the mistake of signing a contract with this company unless you want to deal with ongoing delays, poor communication, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

Avoid Freedom Forever – Terrible Customer Service and Warranty Practices I cannot express how frustrated I am with Freedom Forever. After purchasing my home, I found out that the solar system installed by the previous homeowner came with a warranty. However, when I contacted Freedom Forever to transfer the warranty into my name, I was met with stonewalling and runaround. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous. After multiple phone calls and emails, I was told the warranty couldn’t be transferred because of some arbitrary, convoluted rule they claimed was in place. No matter how many times I explained that the system was in my name now, and that I had every right to the warranty, they just kept giving me the same canned responses with no real solutions. It’s clear that once they’ve installed your system, they couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction or standing behind their product. Their warranty transfer process is a joke, and the fact that they’re making it nearly impossible to take advantage of a warranty that should rightfully be mine is infuriating. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this company. I would never recommend them to anyone. Zero stars, but had to give one to post this.

I started the process of getting solar in April of this year. We didn't end up getting permits until October and installed on October 16th. Well after instal we went out to look at the work and found that there were screws all the way down our awning. We raised attention to this immediately we were then ignored for weeks until I brought it up when they came back out because the didn't finish wiring it to our main panel and were supposed to put in a new sub panel (this was due to their own design issue they were going to try and charge us for and we had to fight) well someone randomly showed up and was able to wire it to our main panel as originally planned. None of this was communicated to us nor to one another within the company because during the next week 2 other people showed up to "work" on the sub panel but didn't bring the required equipment. Well pge showed up to connect it to our meter to tell us they STILL didn't finish the install and they couldn't connect it until their part was done. That was on November 15th. Since then we have had the city come out for inspection twice and we have failed inspection because they installed the back up battery under a very small window under the bathroom and the company keeps saying that it is fine because it's a none escapable window but the county is not having it and now wants them to move the battery. With this all being said the whole system has now been installed incorrectly and I am worried about them moving the battery because they cut into my drywall in the house and have not fixed that, they have not fixed the first issue of the panels being in the wrong spot and now they want to move the battery and probably will not fix all those holes causing so much damage to my house. Every-time I reach out to someone I just get told we are working on it and there is nothing more that they can do for me. My sales rep has ghosted me pretty much since installation has happened my project manager just says the same thing being he will reach out the his branch manager and they are working on it. Or I get told that there are no notes about this in my file so I'm wondering if they really are working on anything? this company is nothing but incompetent, save yourself a headache and look anywhere else!
