Stay away from this company. They installed solar panels for me more than 8 weeks ago, they still have not applied for city inspection yet, they told me they were busy every time I called. I could not enjoy the benefit of the energy savings during this hot summer even I have already paid them. Do me a favor, go somewhere else.

Worst company ever. The install was fine but 4 months in, the system quit working completely. One tech said it was squirrel damage and I needed a new inverter in addition to wire repair from the squirrels. After a 6 week wait for the new inverter, another tech said there wasn’t any critter damage and I needed a new inverter. He tried rebooting the existing one. It’s been 17 weeks and I’m still waiting to get a new inverter and fully working system. Meanwhile, I’m paying on the monthly loan and getting the runaround from customer service. The system is producing after the reboot attempt at about 40% of what iit originally did after installation. I’m currently looking at legal options and filing a complaint with the AG office. I say run fast and far away from these people.

Total SCAM with Mosaic financing- no delivery and delaying cancellation to scam customers- DO NOT WORK WITH THESE TWO COMPANIES!

Worst company of all time. Save yourself a lot of money and headache. Do not hire them. The sales rep promised me this system would power my whole house. I am now paying for a solar system and a power bill that is only slightly lower because of my solar system. The system was nowhere near worth the money we paid for it.

I’ve been holding off writing this. But Freedom Forever is a horrible company to deal with, particularly when competition for solar is so high right now. FLEE! Do NOT use them! We signed up back in September 2022 for a $75,000 system. We were promised a $4k rebate in writing if we signed up that day, and it’s now May of 2023 and they’re still haggling over it. Additionally, we were guaranteed a “consumption monitor” as part of our system to monitor panel production, etc. Nothing. Now they want an extra $500 to install the monitor. There is NO customer service, other than calling an 800 number in California that places you on hold for an hour to reach anyone. Even our sales rep can’t get anything done, despite his diligence. FF is VERY quick to send a crew out to measure your roof for panels and install them. But good luck if you have customer service issues. A few months ago, we were assigned an “enhanced customer service representative” who is completely non-responsive and are considering legal action against the company, which is extremely unusual for us. I’ve never sued anyone in my life, but this has been such a scam. Find another solar company. They’re a dime a dozen these days. You have been warned.

An inquiry was made about solar panels. Upon learning the billing and 25 year terms, I declined their services as I will not live another 25 years!!! Their records show Cancellation was put in for processing November 2022. It is now six months later and a LARGE personal loan with Solar Mosaic Inc appears on my credit report. Solar Mosaic Inc said they sent Freedom Forever an installment payment that must be refunded to them upon cancellation. Is this why they have not yet cancelled?? NOTHING WAS EVER SIGNED!!! How can they do this to people's credit???? I will be filing a complaint with Consumer Protection Division and request a Cease and Desist Order!!!!

TLDR: Freedom Forever is an extremely incompetent organization that is heavily siloed and expects you to spend hours on hours sorting through their delays, mistakes and overall organizational mess. I don't like to exaggerate but this is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. I contracted with them for a solar installation and it has taken 7 months from the time we signed the contract to finish the installation (still not finished at this point). 5 of those months have been a long extended installation with a partially finished Solar system on my roof and remaining leaning against my house. The main problem was they designed the system with panels on the Northwest side of the house. They have assured us that enough sunlight will hit them but when they came to install that side of the roof was iced over. That's not the install team's fault and they came out multiple times to try and install but couldn't. After 6 weeks of this I had some concerns about enough sun hitting that side since it was iced over and the rest of the roof was dry. The install team also agreed and we decided to hold off until the design team reevaluated. This is where things really fell apart. The design team redesigned it once increased the price and sent me a document for approval but didn't send me the design so I had to make multiple calls to the support team to get the design. After seeing it I saw that they ignored the HOA's requirements and put panels on the front of the house. I asked them to redesign it again and they once again sent me an approval request for $900+ without showing me the design. Had to call support again to get the design but no one could tell me why there was such a price increase. I spent a month trying to contact sales, project management, support and design to try and figure this out. Eventually, I was able to get an answer and they accidentally added a charge when there wasn't supposed to be one. During that time their expectation was that I blindly pay the charge in order to continue the install. Fast forward a couple weeks to the final install date. It turns out the design team's new design wasn't possible because the original designer's measurements were inaccurate so they had to go back to the original design but it is now May and the ice is gone so they are willing to risk bad efficiency in order to get it done. The team came and did the install but they changed it again from the original design, bringing panels close to the front of the house (about 2 feet away) and no explanation was given as to why. They also did not attempt to hide the conduit and in some places it sticks up over a foot from the roof line. As of this post, I am still working with them to try and sort out final inspection and to get the system up and running. This is an organization full of people that are willing to talk to you and help you but have no ability to actually solve problems because everything siloed. Don't waste your time with this company

Stay away from this company! They are liars and thieves Beware beware! We are getting an attorney to deal with this company now. They are unresponsive, they lie, the list goes on! Do not use this solar company
