Horrible customer service, horrible website, and horrible food! I signed up using my phone on Friday, February 20, 2026. As soon as I signed up, I realized there was no option for both gluten and dairy free, and I'm highly allergic. I called to cancel my order and get a refund as they had a ready charge me before I could even pick any meals which I never did. I was told that their policy says no refunds! They would escalate to management. It an hour later, I was told no refunds and they would ship my food even though I didn't order anything. They said the food would be delivered on Monday, February 23. A shipping label was created on Saturday, February 21, and the food was actually shipped out on the 23rd and arrived in the 24th. They chose random meals that I did not order and would never order. It looks and smells like dog food, with everything smashed and mixed together! I threw it all out and got a refund from my credit card company. Apparently, there are options for both gluten-free and dairy free on the regular website but not on the mobile website. Also, please note that this is the SAME company as EatClean. I received separate emails with the different company names a few minutes apart on Friday. Multiple phone calls later, I'm still told about their policies! I told them I'd be writing bad reviews. They don't care.

Recently I noticed that 2 of my dinner packages had cracks in the bottom of the container that the food came in. I obviously had to throw them away, as bacteria would likely have contaminated the food. I took pictures to verify and report the issue to customer service.

I would rate it a zero but it is not an option. I was looking around on their site as a previous customer to see if I wanted to go back. I did not re-activate or authorize and order yet I was charged. I called, they insisted that I did place an order, I guess they charge you for looking at their service to the tune of $60. Be very careful.

Buyer Beware: My Experience with Forkful Meal Delivery I signed up for Forkful after seeing one of their ads. After entering my payment information, I was prompted to select meals. I only wanted 6 meals total, but their vegetarian selection was extremely limited and did not meet my expectations — so I decided to cancel immediately. Within 5 minutes of placing the order, I went into my account to cancel. To my surprise, the first 6 meals were already marked as “processing” and I was told they could not be canceled. I called customer service right away. The representative was dismissive and repeatedly stated that orders “cannot be canceled,” even though the order had just been placed minutes earlier. There was no attempt to resolve the issue, no flexibility, and no concern for customer satisfaction. When a company locks you into an order within minutes and refuses to provide a cancellation window, that’s a policy consumers should be aware of. I will be disputing the charge with AMEX and will not be using this service again. If you’re looking for meal delivery with better vegetarian options and more reasonable customer service, I recommend CookUnity instead. Proceed with caution.

I do like the food and the clean ingredients. However, I should have listened to all of the other countless negative reviews. Like so many, my experience with Forkful has been a nightmare. Imagine that you spend $200 a week for dinner for your family, and 50% of the time, the box is either late or arrives with the ice bags melted and food dangerously warm. Now imagine this happening two weeks in a row. Your garbage is full of bad food, you did not plan on having to make an emergency stop to the grocery store for dinner, and you don't have money to get it because you spent it on forkful and they won't give you your money back. Then when you call, they keep saying, day after day, that they will see if they can provide a refund, but nothing ever happens. One of the times, they said that if we can guarantee that you get a refund, will you come back? So, they technically can give me a refund. But why would I want to continue this nightmare? I still have not received a refund. I would call that theft. Beware!

Meals are not worth the money. We couldn't finish two out of three of the meals we got because they were genuinely bad. I'm not even a choosey eater. I like just about everything, but this food is just bad.
