The Good: SOME meals were quite tasty. The serving size was quite generous. Packed well and all meals were still cold when I got it. My first order was delayed and I let them know I would not be home during the rescheduled day and they refunded me and cancelled my order, so I could try again. The Bad: A few of the meals were actually inedible. I had a chicken one where I couldn't cut the chicken with a steak knife it was so rubbery! Shipping - my first order was "damaged" and was going to be delivered 2 days late, so I cancelled. My second order I signed up for texts, so I would know when it arrived. I got no texts, and the company left the box out by the far side of my garage rather than my front door. I had no idea how long it was out. (But it was still cold when I opened it.) Add on items - I often add items (for other companies I have used), and then will adjust after I see everything. Forkful will instantly charge you for ANY add-on you put in your basket INSTANTLY. (Not the regular meals, but add-ons, premiere meals, etc.) So I ended up paying for ones I probably would have removed as I didn't know that they did this. Bottom line, the combination of shipping issues and about half the meals being not great, I decided to cancel.

I have used many meal delivery services and Forkful is the worst. I only did one order and threw several meals away. The meat is tough and they are flavorless. Save your time and money.

Cannot recommend. Customer service is nonexistent. You have to pay before you get to choose your meals. They auto-charge a week in advance, with no warning in case you want to cancel. You don't get enough time to select your meals, and will send you random crap you may or may not want. I selected my preference of "paleo" and it sent me chocolate chip muffins. The delivery service sucks--they leave the packages out in the hot sun with no notification of delivery, and since the meals are not frozen, they two ice packs inside (not dry ice, just regular ice) don't last long. The meals themselves are just "OK" at best. It's mostly chicken, and except for some ground beef stuff you have to pay extra for beef. The amount of meat you get in a meal is small. They overuse cauliflower for nearly everything. They claim "no seed oils" but they don't give any information on the quality and ingredients of their olive oil (90% of which we know is fake anyway) or their coconut oil. Don't bother to ask customer service -- they won't reply.

Forkful didn't lose me because I didn't like the food. In fact, it was my favorite of all the meal services offering premade vegan meals that I tried, and I tried all of the ones that deliver to my area. Every few days I wish I could have their vegan mac again. They also didn't lose me because I had thorny delivery issues or because the boxes arrived with melted ice, or any of the many issues I see mentioned here. No, they lost me because their customer service could not even be bothered to keep me. They informed me that the card I use all the time had been declined, so I contacted my credit union and they said they'd never even received the payment request. It was on the vendor end, they said. The only Forkful reps I was able to reach via the site insisted that I use a different card number. (I only have two cards, and one is NOT for subscriptions.) I sent some follow-up messages, but I guess they thought I was trying to scam them or something. I ended up just canceling the service altogether Again, as I mentioned, I talked to an actual human at my issuing credit union. They assured me my card was fine. I could not get Forkful to retry it, so they lost me.

This company was amazing and easily was one of the best when I started using the service. My health improved and I can vouch that they were using really clean ingredients, great prices and portions, so I was really big on them. Then I got a new credit card to replace the old card. I couldn't update it on the website. I had to have them update it over the phone. Then I would have to call every week to authorize them to process the payment. That was annoying but ok food is good I can get over it. Then a box was involved in a wreck with ontrac, they sent me an email letting me know that and they were sending out a new box immediately. Well that email was a lie, they delivered the 85 degree box from the day before. I emailed them and they played dumb about the email so no box. Then the quality got really bad in June and July. Wrong meals, missing meals, or bad quality stuff. Pot roast was one of the best items, so several times it was a giant hunk of fat that wasn't trimmed or cut in anyway. That's what you want to mess with at work am I right plastic utensils and meat. Then I found a hair that strangely looked like a short and curly another time. Customer Service was literally little to no help with meal issues. They would credit missing meals usually but wrong meals sorry you get what you get. The final straw was a 2 parter. I went to eat one of my meals at work and the package was bloated. Upon opening, the meat was a weird color. The meat hadn't been cooked so it had spoiled. Contact them, nothing. I'm waiting for a credit and that didn't happen and the final box that I was supposed to get never shipped and I decided to not authorize them to bill the next week. Looking at the reviews I say it's even worse now. Sad how they went from really good to the worst quickly. Hope this helps and maybe they can turn things around. 2 stars just because they were using really clean ingredients like they advertised.

We have used multiple meal services, and the customer service at Forkful is so poor that I advise you spend your money elsewhere. No email or text reminders to select meals, they select meals for you, including items we would never eat. I reached out two hours after the ordering deadline to change what they had auto-selected for us, which was SIX (6) days before the actual delivery, and they still sent mostly beef. I reached out for a refund for the meals we will not eat- still have not received a refund. I then asked on a Wednesday 7/29/26 (the "last" day to change meals) to CANCEL my subscription, SIX (6) days before I would receive these future meals, and they will not honor this. They charged my card and are going to send more meals that we will not eat. Every single other meal service we have tried has far better customer service. Even if their food was excellent, which it isn't, I wouldn't give them a red cent because they are so disrespectful.

I placed a delay service on the website in my account, but a box showed up on my porch. When I called to check on it, they had no record of it. I asked why the had it in the account if it didn't but could not get an explaination. I canceled my subscription.

I gave two stars cuz the person I spoke with was great. I think his name was Ryen. He was great when I was on the phone however he never called me back to let me know what was going on with my delivery. Today is Friday 7:00 p.m. and my first order was due on Wednesday. I do not have it and I do not know what's going on. I thought I was being generous giving you two stars.
