Flowers by Nora is a scam—don’t trust them. I ordered sympathy flowers, thinking I was supporting a local Illinois florist, but they completely misled me. They promised free same-day delivery before 2 PM, but my flowers arrived a day late after endless calls just to get an update. Then they hit me with a hidden $18.99 service fee that wasn’t disclosed. The arrangement looked nothing like the premium upgrade I paid for—it was like a cheap grocery store bouquet. To make matters worse, they couldn’t even get the grammar right on the sympathy card. How embarrassing. This company preys on people during vulnerable times. Avoid them at all costs.

Website indicates you are supporting your "local florist" and a small business, but the flowers delivered had a giant card saying they were from a national grocery chain. The quality was what you'd expect from a grocer, not a boutique florist. I paid MUCH more for the arrangement than the grocery charges and the service charge of $19 was more than double what the grocer charges for delivery. The website advertises "free delivery" but at checkout you are charged a "service fee" of $18.99 which "applies to delivery orders". Totally misleading all the way around-- subpar product for a premium price.

Wrong order delivered on 8/26/2024 to a very special day for a special friend! Oder was placed on 8/23/2024. Later found out that the person that took my order by phone, lied stating they were located in New Castle, DE, which is why I chose them despite the high price of a dish garden, because the delivery was going to an address in New Castle! Thank goodness I recorded every detail of the call & the card message (THE ONLY THING CORRECT). After getting a picture from the recipient, I was SO DISAPPOINTED & UPSET!! I immediately placed a call expressing my disappointment! Although an apology was offered and a refund back to my card (that I’ve not received yet) was sent in an email - the damage was done! My lesson learned - research businesses & stay with locally owned/established ones. Honesty, integrity and sound business practices outweigh the monetary value! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!

I ordered a Sympathy plant for a dear friend whose mother had passed away. I placed my order on Friday afternoon to be delivered the next day. When I didn’t hear from my friend on Saturday, I requested a delivery confirmation from Flowers By Nora on Sunday. They responded that my order had been delivered on Saturday at 8:00 AM. My friend called me late Sunday morning to thank me for the flowers that had just been delivered. I asked her to clarify what she received, and she said that she just got a small floral bouquet that she had to admit was jumbled mess. I apologized to her telling her that I ordered her a Peace Lily and it was supposed to be delivered the day before. She sent me pictures of flowers in a vase that could hardly be considered an “arrangement” and they certainly wouldn’t have been appropriate colors for a sympathy arrangement. It looked like a blind person had shoved an assortment of flowers of various colors and lengths into a vase! I e-mailed Flowers By Nora expressing my disappointment and requested that they deliver the correct plant. The next day I received a n email asking for a picture of the flowers, so I had to ask my friend to take pictures for me. I was so embarrassed and dismayed when I saw what was delivered to her. I sent the pictures to Flowers By Nora and they responded that they applied a full refund to my credit card. Period. I didn’t ask for a refund, I didn’t ask for a discount, I wanted the correct item delivered. They didn’t care. Do not use this company to express your feelings in flowers ir plants to anyone who is important to you!

I aint usualy one to write reviews, but Flowers by Nora really impressed me. I ordered a bouqet for my sister's b-day and I gotta say, it was real nice. The flowers was super fresh and the colors was bright, just like in the pics online. I had some doubts bout ordering online, but they made it real easy, and the delivery was right on time like they promised. My sister was so happy, she said it was the nicest flowers she ever got. The whole process was smooth, didnt have any issues at all. I aint too good with this kinda stuff, but even I cud figure it out. The folks at Flowers by Nora did a great job, and I aint got no complaints. If ur lookin for some nice flowers, I’d say give them a try. I’ll defintely be ordering from them again when I need sumthin special.
