I TRIED to book a flight
I booked a flight, received a confirmation email and all seemed good. Two days later I receive and email saying my flight has been cancelled. I phoned Flightsbird and spoke to someone who told me the flight has been cancelled. I said I know, but why? He said the outbound leg was oversold and that they tried to reach me 2 days ago but unsuccessful. I have one phone, which he repeated correctly over the phone. I have no missed calls, no messages. He said they called but couldn't reach me. They have my email and phone and I had no communication, but the one two days after my confirmation email. He basically called me a liar and just repeated that we notified you. My email is timestamped two days after the confirmation. He said all he could do was rebook and it was about $300 more than the original ticket I booked. Notifying a customer two days later to tell them their flight is cancelled is totally unacceptable, never mind calling the customer a liar...DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE INCOMPETANT PEOPLE.
