The company staff met us at Nadi and transferred us to the Intercontinental. Car was clean and driver competent and courteous.
On our return from Lomi Resort the transfer staff met us ontime and took us to the Gateway. All hotel bookings were very smooth

This was an amazing trip
This was an amazing trip. Fiji vacations is the only company I would use to plan a trip to the most beautiful place in the world. Melissa is so dialed in we felt like royalty from the second we got to the airport. I highly highly recommend Fiji vacations.

Give Them a Try
I've toiled over whether to write this review or not. However, I decided writing it may help the team remember that not everyone is mean, entitled and there are people who understand that life happens even in business.
We went with Fiji vacations because we wanted someone experienced in Fiji travel packages for our honeymoon. Our initial contact was with Cheryl and although the site has a chat or message feature, it doesn't seem to be monitored much. I have worked in travel/tourism in many facets for many years so I understand what it is to be on the business side of things, but customer service is still a big priority for me whether as a professional or as a customer.
I am also a person who reads everything, including fine print, and I ask a lot of questions especially if I don't understand or would like clarification on things, because I rather not assume.
Long story short, communication lacked with Cheryl and there were things that we were told about timelines that were delayed and apparently out of Melissa and the team's hands. However, when reaching out about the timelines of documentation and things of that nature, there were times where Cheryl did not respond and we were getting closer to our trip.
I wasn't hounding, or even upset, and if there was a deadline that we were initially told I wouldn't reach out until a week or later after the deadline we were given. After not hearing much I called the phone number and that is when I reached Melissa. Initially upon answering I did not know that I was speaking to Melissa as she had not given her name. I didn't call asking in a rude manner, or freaking out, and just asked about the documentation. Upon that Melissa began to argue with me about what I was told by Cheryl even when I was speaking in a calm manner and letting her know that she didn't have to be rude to me for asking about things. She continued to fuss when I was explaining to her that I was just trying to figure out when documentation was coming based on the emails I had received from Cheryl when she did respond. She proceeded to tell me she had seen the emails and I was never told such things.
Eventually while speaking I found the emails that I was talking about and told her I would forward it to her and read the documentation to her as well. I asked her in the midst of her fussing at me, "Is this Melissa" and she confirmed. I let her know that this was shocking to me as I had read so many great reviews about how awesome she was and that was currently not what I was experiencing.
Melissa calmed down and proceeded to explain that life was happening and so they were trying to get documentation together but she was the only one working on it and so it was running a bit behind. I let her know that I completely understood and if that would have been communicated even initially from Cheryl rather than telling me it will be ready by this time and it will be ready by this time, then not hearing anything at all, I would have not even called.
I let her know that I understood stress, life and so many things that can hinder progress and told her that I was patient enough to wait for the documents to come. She apologized and did say that there was something on the initial documentation that needed to change because it was outdated information and the call ended fine.
We received the documents and had a great time in Fiji and it was absolutely amazing! I am a person who does not mind spending money for quality and customer service is a big part of the quality I look for which is why I chose Fiji vacations despite some of the not so great reviews. I chose Fiji vacations because of the what I saw about the positive customer service here on trustpilot.
There are people who have compassion for what business owners are going through and understand life happens and I am one of those people. All in all we had a great trip. Unfortunately due to the encounter and inconsistency in communication, we wouldn't use Fiji vacations again. However, I would still encourage people to give this company a try. Melissa is well knowledged in Fiji and it's culture and so much! I am sure customer service will be a different experience for others as well and believe that maybe there is hope for continued growth in that area for this company. With that I appreciate Fiji travel making our honeymoon a great one and wish Melissa and her team the best as they continue in building vacations for others.

Melissa knows her stuff
Melissa knows her stuff. I think she has been to Fiji about 100 times. Lol
So originally I was referred to another agency which didn’t know the country well which was why I was immediately impressed by Mellisa who has been to each region , island and resort and can customise an itinerary based on your needs
I was very happy going with Melissa she knows everything there is to know about Fiji
Thanks for a memorable trip

Knowledgeable, Helpful Team at Fiji Vacations
Melissa and the Fiji Vacations team were amazing! My wife and I took our 5 kids to Fiji last week and had the trip of our lives. From the minute we landed in Fiji to our arrival back in the states, the Fiji Vacations team took care of every detail seamlessly. Communication was strong throughout the process and Melissa's knowledge of the islands and vendors we engaged with while there was top notch. Thank you!

Great experience planning for Fiji
I researched travel agents for our 20th anniversary trip to Fiji. I contacted several but none made me feel as comfortable as Fiji Vacations. Ms. Hans answered all my questions and provided great customer service. I was nervous about working with someone I’d found on the internet but I’m glad I did. I had to reach out to her while in Fiji and she promptly responded. I will be utilizing their services for our next vacation.

I just want my refund!!!
UPDATE!
On 5/21/22 I received a refund of $2055. along with a letter that I suppose was sent to my credit card company after I RETRACTED the chargeback!
I was very surprised at the refund amount as I was expecting $3260 as Melissa had outlined below, and I corresponded this to Melissa by email. I was not notified of any change in refund status by email or letter! What kind of retaliation is this? I feel I am still owed the balance of $1205. See below.

Kaly,
Ok lets try it this way....
Land Price was $4346.90 and you paid a $750 non refundable deposit, then you canceled and the cancellation penalty is 25 % of the $4346.90 which is a total of $1086.73. You then filed a chargeback which would add an additional 10% of $4346.90 which is $434.69 as an administrative fee. When we add $434.69 + $1086.73= $1521.42. The number $1521.45 is irrelevant since you voided the chargeback so the only amount we are keeping is $1086.73 and you are being refunded is $3260
Make Sense?

I planned a trip to Bora Bora for April 2022 and cancelled January 2022. In the meantime I cancelled the payment with my credit card company, which created a chargeback. After speaking with Melissa, I agreed that I owed her company fees for canceling and she agreed to refund my balance of $3260.00 after I canceled the chargeback, which I did in January 2022. Since January 2022 we have been emailing back and forth, I am asking for status of my refund, and Melissa is stating that her Merchant Bank has not received the funds from my credit card company. I had my cc company lodge a "research dispute" to find out why my company did not deposit funds back to FujiTravel? The response from my credit card company came back as the funds were deposited to the merchant bank on Jan 28, 2022 after the chargeback was canceled??? I follow up with Melissa weekly, monthly and sometimes she replies that she "has to check with her merchant and will get back with me" other times there is no response at all!! The last I corresponded in April 2022, she stated she was on vacation and would respond upon her return. To date I have not had a reply regarding my refund and I asked her if we could do a conference call with her merchant so I could hear for myself that they still have not received the funds. I just want my refund which Melissa stated she would refund immediately after receiving the funds. I have all my correspondence and replies from and to Melissa and as I stated previously I just want my refund for a trip I did not take!

Kaly, Here is a reply in detail as to why the refund changed.

Case #0302201443660
To Whom This May Concern,
My client Kaly Turner booked a trip to Tahiti on August 4, 2021. The trip/ itinerary was agreed upon and the resort accommodations and transfers were all secured on her behalf in agreement with our booking conditions outlined on our contract and noted on each quote sent to the client. Her claim that this was a “recurring charge” is not accurate as there were 2 payments made, a deposit and a balance. She also stated in her chargeback statement that “she no longer wanted the service or product”. We accepted her written cancellation 81 days prior to her departure which puts her 25% of the land payment as a penalty and a $469 administration fee.
Her $750 non refundable deposit was paid on 8-4-21 and she provided her credit card via our credit card authorization form for the non refundable deposit .She accepted our Booking conditions (terms and conditions and payment terms) which outlined the payment schedule and terms upon which we accept the booking. Ms Turner approved the non refundable deposit and final payment via our signed contract. The balance was charged on 08 January 2022 and it was late as it was due 04 January 2022 .
Per the terms and conditions set forth on our contract and website the following will apply as the cancellation was received less than 81 days prior to departure there are limited refunds.
This is an unethical filing of a chargeback as we had approved quotes and signed credit card authorization and signed contracts in place that outlined the terms. Our contracts and credit card authorization forms meet the requirements of our merchant agreement in having the clients sign next to each line item of the terms and conditions.
The deposits are non refundable in the amount of $750 as they are a fee for research, planning and work that has been completed on the clients behalf.
The terms and conditions state that any cancellations within 81 days of departure date are penalized by withholding 25% of the land cost plus an administration fee of 10%.
The client accepts these terms and conditions and said she canceled the chargeback on 21 January with Chase bank.
Please see the following supporting documentation attached:
Clients proposed/confirmed Itinerary and contract accepting the terms and conditions
Terms and conditions( 6 pages)
Receipt #1 $750
Receipt for balance
In closing, Ms Turner has the right to cancel the booking and we respect that right but we do not agree that filing a chargeback is within her rights because she signed the contract and credit card authorization form acknowledging she understood all booking conditions and terms. Ms Turner reached out to our company for services, services were rendered to her satisfaction as she signed both the contract and the credit card authorization approving the amounts to be charged. We encourage all clients to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect their travel investment. We would appreciate you redepositing the $3576 into our accounts and we will refund Ms Turner the amount due per the terms and conditions which is $2055.
Sincerely, Melissa Pomeroy
