The interest rate could have been lower…
The interest rate could have been lower and the loan could have been without closing costs. I'm actually further in debt.

Told loan officer I would not qualify…
Told loan officer I would not qualify due to income. He assured me it would not be a problem. I was declined due to income after 2.5 weeks and sending in tons of documentation.

We spent about 6 months attempting to…
We spent about 6 months attempting to secure a reverse mortgage from y'all and it did not happen. It appears that the very things we needed the money for were the things that went against us. In the end the terms offered were unacceptable.

A+, The Best Reverse Mortgage Company
I did my due diligence by talking with a number of companies re reverse mortgage. The company that stood out in all respects was Finance of America Reverse. I was especially impressed with the agent we interfaced with, Diana Rogers. She was extremely responsive, helpful and if she didn't have an answer to a question (there were many) she reached out to associates and got back to me readily. Since starting the mortgage it has all run quite smoothly and I still hear from Diana at least once a year to check in on us. I highly recommend FAR!

We were happy with the final outcome
We were happy with the final outcome. It took longer than what we had originally planned for. Our representative was friendly to work with and almost always returned our calls. Glad that we were able to get a reverse mortgage with Finance of America.
