I refinanced a reverse that I had with Finance of America thinking it would be easier than going to another company, it wasn't. Seems like I had to do more work than with the original process. I was told this was because the regulations had changed but some of the questions were questions I answered the first time around. It was only two years. It got done and I do like having two contacts with FofA that I can email to ask questions. This is very helpful.

You can’t help people with reverse mortgages like you used to. There are too many taxes and fees attached to trying to do a reverse mortgage. The objective of a reverse mortgage was to illuminate a payment until I die out of my house and that is not the case. Good luck.
