@Fandango Your inability to use common sense regarding refund or exchanges on tickets purchased inadvertently on your predatory mobile app is ridiculous!!! Though your site is useful and often convenient, your popup on the mobile app is conducive to purchase mistakes!!

This app could be so much better than it is. There are so many issues with showtimes not loading or showing up. I use fandango a lot but I feel like it my usage would be significantly increased if I could rely on the showtime details more. Needs more showtime updates! less bugs

Two words - "Soulless company." I'd also like to mention that Fandango is owned by Comcast and AT&T, so you should extend your outrage in their direction too. I'm personally going to avoid each of these companies for the rest of my life. I think they are all horrible, and they do NOT care about the customer-they care about money. I hope others will follow suit in giving these companies the cold shoulder.

Fandango's return system for tickets is flawed. When you pay for a purchase with partial Fandango credit and partial your own payment method, if you return that order, it all goes to credit. I tried to call to get money returned to my original payment method and the customer service people had no idea. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was left on hold forever. Hung up and now will stop using Fandango altogether. I'll even just eat the money I wasted that is now in Fandango credit - if it means I don't have to do business with this company.

PSA: Do not ever purchase a Fandango gift card. If you lose it, there is nothing they will do. Nothing. It is lost. Forever. Whoever finds it gets to use it. Unacceptable. They will not cancel the lost card and reissue a new card. They will not issue you a PIN number so you can use the card number online - I have the card number on the receipt I am holding. Horrible customer service which does not care one bit about it’s customer base. In 2020, this billion dollar company cannot cancel a gift card and issue a new one when it is lost?! Do not buy or use Fandango.

I will not use this site again to purchase movie tickets. My family and I was unable to make the movie d/t a last minute emergency situation. I contacted customer service and I was told there is a strict no refund policy. I am awaiting an email from the cooperate office, however I feel that this is unacceptable customer service! The fandango staff can see that tickets have not been scanned. They can also see that I have purchased tickets in the past and not had issues (this is not a habitual problem, asking for a refund!). I will buy my movie tickets onsite from now on. In do not recommend this site!

Received 100.00 Fandango gift certificate for Christmas. Buyer assumed that since our local theater’s movie times were listed, we’d be able to get use the gift card there. This is the only theater within 40 miles of our house, and no other options are given when our zip is inputted. When I went to purchase tickets through their app, it said the theater won’t sell through Fandango. Live chat made me wait 20 minutes then gave me 30 seconds and while I was typing, disconnected me. I started over. Second chat rep told me to call a number that had been changed as of Jan.1. Finally got through and was told there are no options in our area and they won’t refund card. He said the movie times for nonparticipating theaters are in black, and orange for those who participate. A person looking at their site to get a card would have no possible way of knowing this. Fandango is a scam and should be avoided by all! Get gift cards directly from your theater. They also charge an undisclosed “convenience fee” from every ticket sold!

Fandango doesn’t even deserve my one star. They are a horrible horrible company! They just take your money with nothing in return. I had bought 2 tickets through fandango and noticed they did not send me a confirmation number, but charged my card. I went to the theater and told them what happened and they said they could look up the tickets but when they did they could not find them. I showed them fandango charged my card and showed them, but they still made me buy 2 tickets again and told me to call fandango. Fandango’s customer service was awful and rude. They made me email my bank statement to show they charged my card making it sound like once I emailed them this they’d return my money. That wasn’t the case though. This was back in October. 5 ignored emails later from me and proof I bought the tickets from them, they still have not returned my money!! They are complete scammers!! Buy your tickets any other way. I’m still surprised there in buisness with all the bad reviews I have read. My friend wanted to give me fandango gift cards for Christmas and I said don’t waist your money that company is awful! I will never do buisness with them again and suggest no one else does!!
