My opinion last year (in 2020): I rated it 1-star "It is regularly down for the main thing it was designed for: f1 races live streams (+onbards and live timing/classification). Working during the other sessions is not enough if it always fails for the race. Amateur "pirate" streaming is 1000x more reliable and professional than this." Update after the whole 2020 season and a few races in 2021: There were a couple other races with video feed issues in 2020 but in general the experience has been better than what the first races I watched have been. I now enjoy the tool a lot and it seems much more stable. I would never go back to watch a race on TV or with the basic international feed. It is much more immersive to be able to follow the drivers you want and you see many more things happening during the race! And you can pause the stream and navigate backwards/forwards during the race now. I put 4 stars now because I can imagine more features that would yet improve F1TV like custom timing sheet and charts (if it was not a video feed) or subscribe/listen to driver radios independently of the onboard you watch.

Despite the time they’ve had to fix all the problems first race weekend of the season and it was a mess. Terrible platform that seems to struggle with the same problems every race. They typically end up resorting to the backup stream at lower frame rates to try and at least get it working. With all the technology involved in the sport this should be an easy problem to solve.

They are fraudsters. They won’t refund even though they don’t deliver the service. They have one job ... ONE JOB. They send an email offering 2-months free but then almost immediately send another email that indicates that was in error and they’ll offer 1 month free. I won’t be renewing. F1 is going to do themselves in with this service.

This service is never working as intended since the begining of the season.

Was looking forward to watch F1 again, f1tv looked promising with their onboard camera, data and so on. I was able to watch a practice and a little bit of qualifying. Couldn't even see the race. Cancelled my subscription after 2 days and bought another one that actually delivers.

F1TV is a joke. Live stream, including races, quite frequently don't work. Some of the archived content only have one strange language as commentary. You get overloaded with instructions to login, even when you already are and you frequently get the message the content isn't available for your region, which isnt the case for the Netherlands. Its F1 inworthy.

They need to make their service function 20 days out of 365. They cannot make this happen.

Took almost 20 laps for the service to actually be viewable for most people. This is normal. Every year there are multiple races where you're just stuck finding an alternative for the beginning of races.
