Hi Matt, Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with dishonour fees. Dishonour fees are apart of your direct debit authority and if multiple fees have been charged, this will be in relation to multiple payments failing to be taken successfully throughout your billing cycle. If you believe there has been an error and the payments should have been successful, please check in with your banking institution to understand why a declined payment response is being provided. If you need to make any updates to your direct debit schedule or dates that the payments are attempted on, this can be handled with the business we are debiting you on behalf of directly. You can also contact our support team on 1300 763 256 or [email protected] if you would like to go through your payment history and have confirmation of which payments these fees are related to. Hi Brett, Thank you for your feedback. The Ezidebit fees and charges are all listed publicly on our website. Ezidebit provides a Direct Debit Request form to all businesses who use Ezidebit for their customers. This form has our Service Agreement attached to this for customers to be clear and transparent about any fees/charges and how debits work with our company to help avoid this fee. Ezidebit made the decision to place a temporary suspension on settlements for businesses that were still taking payments from customers on or after 23 March, as they were at an increased risk of breaching Australian Competition and Consumer (ACCC) regulations around fees for no service. We communicated with our impacted clients and worked with them to ensure all guidelines around changing business models were met in line with government restrictions.
