I was initially skeptical, but when first using EyeQue I was really impressed with the way the interface works and takes/talks you through the testing procedure step by step. I'm also impressed with their online support, which responded very quickly with personal and friendly help. I've now performed half a dozen tests on myself and some have thrown up minor variations. I deduced these are through my actions during the test and I have been able to make reliable assumptions about which test results are not as good as others. Overall, it's very impressive, user-friendly technology and whilst not replacing a professional ophthalmologist, I'm confident that the eyeglasses I have ordered will suit me and be the correct prescription - at about 35-50% of the price through a bricks & mortar dispensary.

EyeQue gave me a prescription for distance and reading distance vision and also a measurement for astigmatism. I have not recalled having astigmatism checked in a while even though my older prescriptions addressed it. I’m in the progress of setting up periodic appointment where I’ll be sure to get some answers, armed with the information I’ve obtained.

I have never been able to get my device to work. I cannot even see the two colored lines.

I honestly dont want to be reminded of this product. If what you mean by learning curve is doing something other than the included step by step instructions then yes... "Learning curve". Multiple people with in my family all recieved same eyeque/prescription numbers following the step by step instructions. 10-20 test and same results. Contacted customer service only to be dissapointed by a friendly staff with no answers. This was my experience. Maybe and hopefully it'll work for you but i was sadly let down by this amazing idea of a product. Good luck.

Bought the glasses to use with the PD Check app but the app would never let me do a test. After going back and forth with tech support I just gave up and returned the glasses used with the app.
