Hello Jin, Thank you for your comments. Before your appointment begins you sign an acknowledgement stating this assessment is for your prescription only. We do the same readings as you would have in a Dr's office as far as the accuracy of the prescription. We do not test for glaucoma or visual fields testing. We do read your old glasses, just like they do in the Dr.'s office. That gives us an idea of your old Rx for comparison. As far as the accuracy of the Rx provided by us, it is definitely good for other glasses purchases. We do not charge for the assessment or the Rx provided. The charges were for your frames, lenses, case, cleaner and the upgrade to your lenses you chose. We hope your glasses work well for you. -Team Eyelation
