I visited a brick-and-mortar Eyeglasses.com store -- in West Hartford, CT -- and it was awesome. VERY helpful staff who helped me identify the correct lenses so I could order the right pair at home. However, the customer service online after I placed my order was pretty nonexistent. I tried to contact them two or three times with NO response.

My prescription sunglasses arrived with a bad lens. I don't know if it was my error or theirs, but they made it right and sent me the proper lens. I was very impressed with their service.

Arrived on time, good quality, fantastic delivery to Australia

I wanted a special old fashion design frame. They had an overseas supplier who had them. It took a couple of weeks, but I have what I want.
Nope
glasses were pretty terrible quality, this isn't really eyeglasses.com's fault but it DID take significantly longer than expected based on their description of how long it was supposed to take to be shipped (2-3 days, took well over a week before it shipped even though the lenses themselves were not complex). The feedback mechanism is clunky and unclear "Did I order super complicated lenses? I have no idea where to find out how long this SHOULD take" also one of the lenses arrived cracked in an upper corner (not visible unless you are inspecting the craftsmanship, may be visible if you're looking at me wearing the glasses). Basically kind of a not great experience.

Nope, I apologize for the problems you encountered. The sunglass model you ordered is a lower quality brand - Reebok - and we have a full return policy on the sunglasses, so send them back for a full refund. Tinted and prescription lenses do take extra time, and we have a perfect lenses guarantee, so if they are not perfect, we can give you a full refund on those too. Please give me a call and we will work out a solution. Best regards, Stefanie Customer Service

When I called with a question about a lens coating not listed on the website, the person who answered the phone made a call and found out that they could add that coating, which was great. He could answer my questions about the other lens options, too. I sent them my old frames and got them back in good time with great new lenses. No complications anywhere. I got Trivex lenses on the recommendation of my eye doctor, and I'm glad; I've always been bothered by glasses (feels like I'm talking to people through a closed window; weird), but these, not so much. And the Transitions option has been a godsend on our recent sunny days with snow cover, which accentuates the glare.
