I’m supposed to order my glasses through Eyeconic because of my vsp insurance. They have a wide selection of options however, upon researching the pair of glasses I settled on, I notice how they jack up the prices and make it look like you are “saving” hundreds of dollars, when in reality their prices are 3x higher than comparable stores and because they are owned by the insurance company they’ve set it up as the only way to “maximize” your benefits. They are clearly price gauging and it’s wrong. I don’t understand how this is legal to do.

They were easy to order and arrived ahead of schedule. My only issue was the plastic noseguard pieces were pointed inward and made it impossible for the glasses to sit on the bridge of my nose. My husband used a tiny pair of plyers and slowly bent them into position. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

The eyeglasses that I selected on eyeconic website was as shown and lenses adjustment were great. The package was delivered on time with proper care.

I was an optician and for 17 years. I chose Eyeconic only because they take my insurance and I can’t seem to find the time to go to places to look for the right glasses. I was able to make my entire order in less than 30 min. This included the search. I was able to try on many pairs of frames. I even ordered my first pair of progressives and I have a great result. No adjustments needed. 10/10 would use again and hoping my family uses Eyeconic in the future. The only downside is I have a kid who prefers Versace frames and they don’t carry that brand.

I like the quantity of the different frames that are available on line, and the many different brands. What would have made the experience better would have had more information on individual frames themselves. I have always tried to get the lightest frames possible, and the one's I ordered ended up being twice as heavy as my previous frames. I would also like to have a better option for my transition coating. On many of my previous frames, I was able to get the transition coatings in different grades. I would get the darkest grade I could so they would function even when driving a vehicle.
