I went up to the Kansas City area for business. The first room I was assigned was apparently in the smoking floors. I could hardly breathe. I requested a non smoking floor. I was given a room on the bottom floor but the cigerette smell was still overwhelming. The only difference I noticed was the intense smell of pot. I ended up having to go to another motel. I was very disappointed. Especially after paying way too much for a very sub par hotel.

Absolutely appalling hotel experience — avoid at all costs
St. Louis: This was hands-down the worst hotel stay I’ve had in years. The place is falling apart — dirty, musty, and clearly neglected. When we arrived, the front desk was completely unmanned. After a ridiculous 20-minute wait, the receptionist finally showed up, unapologetic and shockingly rude. Instead of acknowledging the delay, she *defended* her absence by saying she had “other things to do.”
Then came the absurd check-in process: she flat-out refused to check me in until my wife arrived with her ID — something no other hotel has *ever* required. After another 15-minute wait (my wife had stepped out briefly to get food for our child), she finally, and begrudgingly, agreed to check me in. Her attitude throughout was hostile and dismissive.
The room? A complete disgrace. Musty hallways with industrial fans blasting to combat humidity — loud and ineffective. The room had visible bugs. ZERO toiletries apart from a sad little bar of soap. And when I politely requested an extra towel set for our child, I was snapped at and told only two sets were allowed — despite having clearly stated during booking that we were a party of *three*.
This place is a joke. Disorganized, dirty, and staffed by people who have no business working in hospitality. Do yourself a favor — stay literally anywhere else.

Cockroach infested. May as well flush your money
I booked an overnight stay for my son in law. He arrived a little after 8pm.
He left at 3 am because the roaches were so bad and crawling all over the place.
I saw the pictures and the place was disgusting and a healthy hazard.
No breakfast (not that he would eat it from that place) and no coffee.
I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Dusty and Dirty
We stayed in the Extended Stay America in Cranberry. PA, April 7, 2025. We smelled pot in the lobby, the first floor hallway and the hallway outside our room. Then we saw hairballs in the bathroom in two places, dust on the furniture, and hall floors that looked like they had not been vacuumed in days.

Bigotry
The fact your site in Atlanta refused to honour a booking to a trans woman because of who she is, is a powerful reminder that the US is a destination to avoid at all costs.

Never again, too bad too.
I have had pleasant experiences the past two years, but this year it was one issue after another. After requesting a handicap room with a walk in shower, they gave me a room with a tub. The handicap room they did give me reeked of bleach so much so, it made me sick to my stomach and the air freshener they used lasted all of five minutes, that's how strong the bleach smell was. The guest above me were banging on the floor after 11pm, quiet hour. Lastly, the tv didn't work. After several requests, maintenance came in, turned it off, turned it on and left. Shortly thereafter the sound went off again. I complained again but maintenance had left for the day. I left with one more night on my bill. Never again. Too bad too.
