Unacceptable place
The first week I was here, I encountered rude front desk staff (there is one woman - Fabiola who is always friendly, smiling and helpful) who seemed to resent that I would knock on the plastic shield to get their attention. One in particular was exceptionally rude and I had to report him to the manager. I wrote the manager two notes and placed them in a sealed envelope so that I would be certain that they were confidential. Either she didn't get them or chose not to respond. Next time I saw her she acted like she had never read them, although I noticed that the things I complained about (side doors not working, empty booze bottles in the parking lot as well as an empty fruit can standing on it's side in the outer lobby) have been taken care of. The rooms are clean, but if you want bed linens more than twice a month, then you have to change it yourself. The towels often have threads all over them like something you would use to wash your floor. The burners on the so-called "hot plate" either heat up too fast or don't heat up at all. The first time I made a grilled cheese even though I watched the pan carefully, was burned and almost inedible. When you turn on the television, you are forced to watch a dreary promotional piece on how luxurious and spacious the rooms and the storage in the kitchen are - don't believe it. It is a fabrication. I called another Extended Stay America to get some sort of support from someone I was told was a guest relations manager. I left a message with the front desk clerk and 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for a call back. UNACCEPTABLE.
