Well I am working away from home and the company that I work for had me staying at this hotel for over a year. The weekly rent is not cheap. Several times the company forgot to make the payment but always but they always made good on it. Towards the end of my stay at that certain hotel the company forgot one last time to pay. I was contacted by the receptionist of the situation. I was asked on a Sunday to pay for that night because the company had only paid until that Saturday. To avoid being kicked out I paid for that night with my personal credit card. I checked my statement about a week later and found out that the receptionist charged me two extra nights. She never told me she planned to charge me for those nights and the receipt I got from her was for one single night. I contacted their main office on two separate occasions and both times said they were going to investigate. Up to this day I have not even received as much as a call from them telling me if their findings or worst yet I never got a refund. I will never stay at any of their hotels ever again. They are crooks. That place was dirty and full of roaches also. I guess it goes well with that receptionist.

Filth and bugs
Filth and bugs. This is the Richmond, VA Broad street south location. 6811 paragon place. I complained to the front desk and the man laughed at me. I checked out and tried to tell the lady there's bugs in the room and she smiled and acted like I wasn't complaining at all. This stay has scared me for life. I will never try extended stay again. I wish I could post the pictures.

If it were possible I would leave -10… Stay Away From This Place.
If it were possible I would leave -10 stars. I am involved with lawyers now, because we made an "advanced purchase" reservation at this location, for which the payment was never charged and the reservation did not show up in our extendedstay.com account... we were under the understanding that we did not have a reservation, yet weeks later we were charged 1000s of dollars anyway as a "no show." The policy clearly requires "advanced prepayment" which they never charged when we initially tried to reserve the room... We called to have this resolved, and they treated us very unprofessionally and hung up on us as a response. When we called the national number, they were equally inflexible/unreasonable and would not allow us to speak to a manager at all. I would advise that you stay as far away as possible from this place.

Discrimination of a 100% Disable American Veteran with a Service Dog by Extended STAY AMERICA HOTEL
Extended STAY AMERICA Hotel, located at 1220 E. 2100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106
On 02/11/2024 I called Extended STAY AMERICA and made a reservation for Confirmation No # 9718315527, Stay Details, Check in Date: Feb 11, 2024, Number of Nights:213, Check Out Date Sep 11, 2024, Check In Time: 03:00:00 PM. Upon this reservation, I advise the representative I had two service dogs and that, we were going to check the property to make sure it was to our likings. She assured me it would be no problem. When we arrived at the property, we left my service dogs secured in our SUV until we checked the room. We entered the front office and proceeded to identify ourselves to the assistant Manager named Velma, she asked, where were my service dogs. We told Velma that my service dogs were left in the car because we wanted to check-out the room, before we got the dogs out of the car. Velma guided us to the assigned room, which by the way, it wasn’t anything like in the pictures provided on the website. The room was very small and was carpeted. The picture on the hotel website showed a beautiful large room without carpet. We told the assistant manager that this room wasn’t anything like the one in the website pictures. she replied, yes because we are assigning you a pet friendly room. I made her aware that my dogs weren’t pets, that they were working/service dogs and that she could not just assigned me a pet-friendly room. I said assigning a pet friendly room, was in direct violation of the ADA directives. She got very upset and kept on arguing and telling me that they always assigned service dogs to pet rooms because they were consider pets. I told her, I wanted to see the manager, she said I'm the assistant manager. I insisted on seen the manager. At this time, we left the room and returned to the front office, she went directly into the manager's office. The manager came out to the front desk with a very defiant and loud voice, asked, where are your services dogs. I replied, they are in the car because we wanted to check out the assigned room before we made a decision. The manager in a very offensive tone, told me, your dogs are not service dogs, because service dogs had to be with the handler at all times. I tried to explain that he was wrong by assuming they weren’t service dogs, he was being so loud and offensive with his body language, I told him that he didn’t need to get so hostile. While all this was going on, the assistant manager proceeded to tell us, that they were actually denying Hotel services and we could make an official complaint to the corporation. The manager in a very hostile way, handed me a business card and said, “here is my name”, and proceeded to point out at the door. At this time, I told the assistant manager, that I would like to have the reservation Showing I was denied services and signed. she did so and handed me the copy and we exited the front office.
I felt humiliated, angry and betrayed by these individuals. Hotel staff should be aware of the guidelines and accommodate the needs of guests with service animals accordingly. There’s no legal requirement for constant presence. The American Disability Act (ADA) does specify that a person most have their service dog with them at all times in public areas of the Hotel. If a handler feels the need to bring the service dog alone, they are allowed to do so. However, there is no legal obligation for constant presence. if the handler is eating at the hotel restaurant, it is generally acceptable for the service animal to be left alone in the handler’s room. However, it’s essential to ensure that the service animal is comfortable and safe during this time.
Can hotels assign designated rooms for guests with service animals out of consideration for other guests?
No. A guest with a disability who uses a service animal must be provided the same opportunity to reserve any available room at the hotel as other guest without disabilities. They may not be restricted to “pet-friendly “rooms. According to the American Disability Act (ADA).

If I could give it a zero
If I could give it a zero, I would do! This place is filthy! Stay away! Full of 🪳 , unclean rooms, and hairs all around the place! My employer booked me to 2621 Research Blvd, Rockville, MD location and I couldn’t express my disappointment in this place. Strange ppl hanging around all night long, smoking weed, screaming and drinking 24 hours. Homeless ppl sleeping by the side door. Really outdated, moldy rooms . Poor costumer service with threat to charge you even more if you planing leave earlyer due to the terrible service.

Customer service needs major improvements. Get rid of bugs. Fix the issue like no hot water in shower. Housekeeping needs major improvement. Food under bed. This hotel doesn't deserve even 1 star. Other issues. To many.

Extended Stay America-Overland Park
Extended Stay America-Overland Park, Quivira Road.
Stayed there in 2022-2023. While I have stayed at over 10 ESA's in 15 years, this location was the worst.
FIrst on check in; Asst. Mgr. Ashley Wall told me I had to pay $100 deposit for"incidentals". Of all the ESA's I have stayed at, I have never been asked for a deposit. Why? Because there are no "incidentals"!!!
From there, I checked into a room with bed bugs, roaches, the room was filthy. I cleaned it up on my own.
Supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, but the halls and the room reeked of cigarette and pot smoke.
The General Manager, Cody Schoenherr, overcharged me numerous times for my room. I booked through the ESA website and still got overcharged.
After 90 days, I sent numerous emails to Cody and Ashley, asking where my deposit was. No answer.
After the third time of being overcharged for my room, I went to the front desk and tried to talk to Cody. Was told I was being aggressive. Never got it resolved.
I was in Overland Park to receive treatment for STage 4 cancer at the VA. Even though I extended my stay through the reservation site, Cody did not renew my reservation and I had to leave right in the middle of radiation treatment.
I wrote a long letter to the owners of this hotel, Aimbridge Hospitality, to ESA, to Cody, asking for my deposit.
THe Regional Manager at the time reached out to me and refunded me the $100 plus an additional $500 for the overages. She agreed with me that Cody lied to me and overcharged me.
I thought all was good until I tried to check into another ESA in Cleveland to continue Cancer Treatment. Was told that I was DNR'd (Do Not Rent).
Called Cody, called Corporate, called Aimbridge. No response.
Cody is a con artist. Stay away from this and all ESA's in the Kansas City area.
I have had amazing experiences at all the ESA's except the one in Overland Park.

Disgusting
Disgusting, infestation with insects and cockroaches and bed bugs.
Our experienced during our stay in Intown Suites 13125Fm 1960 West Houston, TX 77065.
We made booking through booking.com website for eight nights starting from 11th of November until 18th of November.
The room given to us had infestation of insects and cockroaches.
We attempted to resolve the issues we had with our booking in Houston at your site with no help at all.
I booked this room through booking.com
On arrival we got the keys and when We came back at night to sleep and find out the condition of the room was extremely poor and unhygienic.
we find insects crawling everywhere in the room including bed sheets, shelves, pillows sheets, carpet and in toilet we made contact with the out of our contact number at your site and one of hotel management person came to a room to have a look we showed him the insects and the pictures as well which we have taken earlier, he was not able to help us in any way or form he was not able to clear the room or offer us any other room to sleep for that night.
We slept in the room as have no other options unfortunately but in the morning few of us did have insect bite and rashes on their back.
We collected over stuff and left the room
The room which we had looked and booked through website was completely different to what we were offered on site.
Team at Property was not able to help us at all with infestation in room which have insects and cockroaches. Carpet is extremely dirty and had strong smell of fungus and dampness.
we were informed staff can't even change our room or do anything to clean the room.
We had no option other than leaving room along with our stuff and live in other place as the room was not in liveable condition and extreme hazard to stay longer.
Even at the time of checkout we showed staff add reception the pictures but unable to receive any assistance or help or even an offer to change our room.
It cost us extreme distress and inconvenience during our stay.
we left the room after 2 days out of 8 days booking but they charged us full and have no courtesy to refund I have contacted they many times by email but its pathetic they don`t have courtesy to reply to apologise, refund and compensation of inconvenience and distressed caused during our stay in Houston at intown suites.
