Terrible customer service! I paid for overnight shipping and was charged, and did not receive my medication to 3 weeks! I am so unhappy and frustrated with Express Scripts company. They are incompetent and have no customer service skills. No solutions for this except to charge me and not refund my money on medication I didn’t receive! Terrible and I absolutely don’t recommend them at all. Don’t bother calling them because all you get is AI or the runaround. They are terrible!!

I would rate this company a ZERO…If you value your health, find another company. They make mistakes, don’t admit it and when all else fails, they will hang up on you.

Calling express scripts has become an…
Calling express scripts has become an ordeal. You have to go through a robot forever before getting an agent. Then after answering a few questions you are referred to another agent who will ask the same questions.Of course they are from India and not always easy to understand. I remember when it was so easy and helpful to call express scripts. What happened?

extremely disappointing…
I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Express Scripts.
My provider prescribed my medication on July 17. Because the medication required prior authorization, Express Scripts initiated the process. My insurance company requested that my provider complete a questionnaire, but my provider never received it. I had to repeatedly contact my provider before discovering this, and I then had to call Express Scripts myself to have the questionnaire resent.
The automated phone system is difficult to navigate, and reaching a live representative is unnecessarily challenging. Throughout this process, I have found that nothing seems to move forward unless I call and follow up myself.
After my provider resent the prescription yesterday, I called Express Scripts to confirm they had received it. I was told to call back the following day to request that the order be expedited because I had already been without my medication for two weeks. When I called back, I was informed that the prescription was incomplete and that they could not ship the medication without it. They said they were waiting to hear back from my provider.
At every step, I have had to coordinate communication between Express Scripts and my provider. There has been no proactive communication or follow-up from Express Scripts, leaving me to manage the process myself while going without an important medication.
I was also very concerned that one representative in the prior authorization department wouldn’t give me details on my own insurance information. As if my own personal information was confidential.
Overall, this has been an exhausting process that has delayed my treatment. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and repeated need for me to intervene at every stage have been unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would rate Express Scripts’ customer service 0 out of 10. I do not recommend anyone ever use Express scripts.

Rude Rude Rude
Rude Rude Rude! This is the Frontier of Medication Management. I get a call from these clowns, they leave a message for a return call. I call them back (Unsure of who they are) since I fill my scripts at WalMart. Right out of the gate, they want my name and DOB. I ask who they are, the deadbeat on the other end sais "YOU CALLED US", I said Im calling YOU BACK, YOU CALL ME" She than sais "But you called us". I said I am not giving you ANY personal information if I dont know who you are. She than AGAIN said, YOU CALLED US. I said THIS CALL IS OVER and hung up.

No compassion!
Over the past few weeks, I've learned how important it is to understand how your mail-order pharmacy handles accounts.
My doctor has prescribed life-saving blood pressure medication, heart medication, and diabetes medication. After recently suffering a heart attack, these medications are essential to my health.
I spoke with a representative at Express Scripts named Raven, who told me my doctor could not submit my prescriptions because my account was restricted due to a $40 balance. However, when I logged into my account, it showed a zero balance. I explained that I recently had a heart attack and haven't been able to work, so I simply don't have the money right now. I was told I needed to pay the bill before I could receive my medications, even though more than half of them are provided at no cost.
As a 100% totally disabled veteran, I hoped for a little more understanding and compassion. My purpose in sharing this isn't to attack anyone personally, but to encourage others to stay on top of their mail-order pharmacy accounts and understand how these situations can affect access to critical medications.
No one should have to worry about being unable to receive life-saving medication because of an account issue.

Worst PharmacyI
It is absolutely impossible to understand why New York City has chosen Express Scripts to be the pharmacy provider for their employees and retirees....Express Scripts is simply the worst pharmacy ever. I put in a renewal prescription which was rejected twice before it was approved and required multiple letters and phone calls from my doctor for approval, even though I have been on this drug for five years...Now I am waiting another week for the prescription to arrive. Their agents are totally incompetent and are a waste of time to contact. Express Scripts is the WORST pharmacy and should be removed as providers by New York's Department of Health.

If you have the option use another prescription insurance
I’ve been taking a generic eye drop for years it is not expensive. Express Scripts just denied a refill because I didn’t try two other eye drops prior to it. Both are contraindicated for my condition but Express Scripts doesn’t care. They’re all about profits…their rep on the phone was very nice but has a really terrible job.
