Hi there, Thanks for your review. We love that you are happy with your mats, overall, but are sad to hear that you are dissatisfied with the smell. Please allow us to explain a bit about vinyl, in general as I think it may clarify a bit. What you're smelling is fresh, virgin vinyl. Virgin vinyl (more info here: https://www.exactmats.com/blogs/exactmats/105933830-why-virgin-vinyl) means that it's brand new and not repurposed. That's great for you and your car, but it can have a slight smell when you first open the box. This is similar to how some plastic (usually vinyl) shower curtains smell a bit until it airs out some outside of the box it came in. The transit time to your door usually gives our mats and liners the time needed for the smell to go away, but sometimes it can take a few days after receipt, too. Please give the mats a little bit longer for the smell to dissipate, and give us a call if it simply does not go away after some time. Thanks!
