Hi there, Thanks so much for your review and for the feedback on pricing. ExactMats can sometimes be a tad more expensive than non-custom alternatives. That said, we feel that once you get a set of mats in your car, you see how perfectly they fit, and how clear they are, you'll feel the order was well worth it! Of course, we appreciate your feedback and will absolutely take this into consideration in the future.

We never want to be too expensive, but given that we are a made-to-order, custom business, our pricing is a bit different than non-custom alternatives. We're always evaluating our price points though, so thank you again for your feedback! Hope you're happy with your mats otherwise!

Hi Marti, Thanks! We're glad you like your mats over all, but of course, you bring up a good point that we want to address. As you mentioned, our mats are cut to the exact shape and size of the factory mats. If the factory mats were not made to go under the foot pedals, we don't make ours to go under the pedals either. However, that said, you should still have some serious protection under the bulk of the area. Please enjoy your mats and don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions!

Hi there, Thanks for your review. We love that you are happy with your mats, overall, but are sad to hear that you are dissatisfied with the smell. Please allow us to explain a bit about vinyl, in general as I think it may clarify a bit. What you're smelling is fresh, virgin vinyl. Virgin vinyl (more info here: https://www.exactmats.com/blogs/exactmats/105933830-why-virgin-vinyl) means that it's brand new and not repurposed. That's great for you and your car, but it can have a slight smell when you first open the box. This is similar to how some plastic (usually vinyl) shower curtains smell a bit until it airs out some outside of the box it came in. The transit time to your door usually gives our mats and liners the time needed for the smell to go away, but sometimes it can take a few days after receipt, too. Please give the mats a little bit longer for the smell to dissipate, and give us a call if it simply does not go away after some time. Thanks!

Hi Maria! Thanks for the review! We're sorry to hear you were somewhat disappointed. That's not what we want at all. Just some background though, some makes and models have hooks instead of a twist lock on the factory mats. When the mats have hooks that protrude high enough for a second mat to slip in there, we are able to cut out holes to allow the ExactMats hook onto the hooks as well. If there's not enough room, we do not add holes as having extra holes in mats that don't meet the requirement for them, like your car, may allow dirt or liquid to get into the hole, or under the mat. Since you are looking for a protective mat, this can certainly ruin the experience, so we forego cutting holes in cars that don't meet requirements for them. We hope this clarifies some, and that you enjoy your mats!
