I NEVER write reviews but this one merits one. DO NOT waste your money on this test, it is absolutely a waste of money and not accurate at all. If you really want to find out your food sensitivities do either the MRT or ALCAT tests. Its more money but definitely accurate. Ive done the MRT and the Everlywell test. Everlywell was a huge waste and i totally regret trying it. They had an excuse for everything I said that i found was inaccurate.

The test is extremely expensive and while I was warned that it was not very accurate it was completely useless. It said I wasn't intolerant to any foods which is so laughably false. You of course cannot get a refund. Do not waste your time or money on this awful test.

Never got the results

I submitted a test on January 28, 2025 and did not receive results until Feb 21, 2025. I saw how long it was taking and asked for a refund before my results were produced. My request was denied and they offered me a 15 percent discount which is a joke because all their sales offer about 25 percent off. I have been using EverlyWell for 3 years and have always been happy with the turnover time. I test my thyroid numerous times a year! But since the Fall of 2024 I’ve noticed big delays. I’m sad to say that I am no longer going to go with EverlyWell because of the poor service. So they lost a loyal customer.

Used to work for EW, please do not purchase anything from them. I worked in CS and they make upper management sign NDAs because the tests don’t work and they are not accurate. I myself took some tests as I got 1 free test a month and there were results that I knew were inaccurate (ex. Negative/positive STI results). When I brought my concerns to management and nurses on staff they had no answers and discouraged me from pursuing the issue further. Whenever I told management I was worried about the implications of selling inaccurate tests, I was gaslit and it was suggested that I leave the company if I didn’t share their “bigger picture”. There were always legions of complaints about the EW results being completely off compared to in-office testing. They used to send their tests to outside labs but tried so hard to push their own lab that they refuse to admit their lab is understaffed and quality control is abysmal. Talking about “Theranos” was a huge no-no because they didn’t want to be compared to that company. Well big whoop turns out they are absolutely Theranos.

After getting my results I was shocked and worried for my health. I immediately scheduled a follow up with my GP who ran a full lipid panel and I was shocked that these results were almost 100 points higher in total Cholesterol 150 points higher in triglycerides and 50 points higher in calculated LDL. These results caused me a great amount of stress that was unnecessary once I spoke with my doctor and got a reliable test done.

I took the food sensitivity test, and it's a total scam. The results showed that I had mild to severe sensitivity to 30% of the 155 foods tested. Throwing a dart at a list of the foods would have been just as insightful...and much less expensive. But more than that, I figured out what I was sensitive to in the month between ordering the test and getting my results (I had to have a second testing kit sent when the first one didn't arrive). Surprise, surprise: the thing I eliminated from my diet wasn't on the list from Everlywell.
