This is my second time to use EverlyWell for lab tests, and this one was much easier since I knew what to expect and what to do. I was pleased with the turn-around time and the ease of access of the lab results. I'm taking these results to a doctor to help determine any next steps.

I like the lfact that you can send the test in and get your test results fast.

I have suffered from IBS symptoms for about 8-10 yrs now and was recently diagnosed with Crohns Disease. I took the comprehensive food intolerance test to find out what some of my triggers are and they confirmed many things I had suspected, as well as, identified some "mystery" ingredients I never would have figured out on my own. Sunflower was one of them which I realized was in the organic crackers and protein powder I was using, both of which would almost immediately send me running to the bathroom and I couldn't figure out why. The test was easy. The results were fast (within a week) and the app made it easy to go back and review my results thru my phone when I was out and needed to review again. Very helpful experience in narrowing down what I can and cannot eat.

For years I've had a series of symptoms. One doctor said I must have HIV...negative, she even tested twice, then said she didnt know but heres a shot of steroids thatll help. (it did till it wore off). Another said no need to worry since it went away on its own. Course it came back and went away several more times. One doctor, did a biopsy, took 5 weeks to tell me I had Lichen Planus Pigmentosis Inverse, that hardly any research is available for and then prescribed me medication that might cause cancer. I declined. Another doctor looked at my labs and said we'd revisit it in a year. I thought she thought I was making it all up somehow. 4 doctors. BUT I knew something was wrong and through Everlywell's tests I was able to document Cortisol, TSH, T3, T4 levels, among several other tests I took ... using their subscription service which consistently showed something off. After DNA testing through another company I found out I was predisposed to a hereditary disease. And for the first time ... my laundry list of symptoms, my Everlywell results all could be explained. What made me seem like a hypochondriac, seemed unrelated, suddenly all feel under one test that Everlywell offered too. This isn't a replacement for a doctor...but it's also helpful for getting your doctor to listen to you during the 10 minutes they will spend with you. Because lets be honest ... you dont really see your doctor long enough for them to be your primary healthcare advocate. You are your best healthcare advocate. These tests empowered me to go around the doctors first hunch and actually get to the bottom of something. I've read other reviews...and I frankly can't understand how they had issues with registering, the lancets, getting results ... when I only had one issue that was user (me) related. They sent out a new kit when one time they said I didn't provide enough blood. At no cost to me. In total I've done 5 tests and had great results. I've even had consultations with their free doctor to discuss results...I think I missed the call but they kept calling. So ultimately...the only time I've had an issue is because I created it. Educate yourself, follow the instructions and set realistic expectations and you shouldn't have a problem. But order the wrong test or expect more than a diagnostic test that's kinda your issue. Remember...some people can't set the clock on their microwave.... but it's not the microwave that's broken.

Received results in a timely manner. Results were comparable to what I received from my doctor thru a state licensed medical lab. My doctor said there is a difference between capillary blood from a finger stick and venous blood as drawn from a lab but the results are very similar. Everlywell LDL 19 Medical Lab 20 Everlywell Total cholesterol 81 Medical lab 73 Everlywell Triglycerides 113 Medical Lab 76 Everlywell HDL 39 Medical Lab 36 Except for triglycerides, the results were very similar.
