Overall my time with Everhem and the team was very poor. From the lack of installation process, missing pieces for the install, back and forth with support team, and the overhype of the actual material can all be purchased for a third of the price somewhere else. I will never purchase again from here. Sad.

Major disappointment
This is my first time ever leaving a bad review. The quality of the shades I got from Everhem are such a disappointment. From the construction and unevenness of the valances to the function and feel of the roller shade, everything missed the mark.

Overpriced, terrible quality. Complete waste of money.
Literally such terrible quality. The only benefit is that they are a custom length, but in terms of quality, pleat, look, etc., just order drapes off of Amazon. Incredibly overpriced for what you receive. Major regret, will never purchase from them again.
—- Everhem, you can try reaching out to me directly again. I had just had surgery during the time Trustpilot asked for more info. Let me know how to get in touch with you all to discuss further if you’d like. But your response below is dismissive and I 100% stand by my review. Your product is crap.
For those curious about the opportunity to make it right, I was sent a proposal to replace the drapes at 50% off, which is still $4700 - for two medium sized windows. I can get custom drapes from RH for those windows for $1600.

3/10 Updated Response:
Thank you for your feedback, Aubrey. We’ve reached out to you directly with a resolution and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to make this right.
Initial Response:
We take customer feedback seriously, but unfortunately this review does not contain enough information for us to identify any corresponding order or customer interaction.
When this review was submitted, we asked Trustpilot to request basic details from the reviewer—such as their name, order number, or the email address used for their purchase—so that we could investigate the concerns raised. No information was provided within the timeframe Trustpilot allows for a response.
Because our products are custom, made-to-measure, every order is associated with a unique customer record. With even basic details it would be straightforward for us to verify and investigate any customer's experience. As none were provided here, we are unable to confirm that this review reflects a genuine purchase or interaction with Everhem.
We stand behind the quality of our materials and craftsmanship and work closely with customers to ensure they are happy with their window treatments. If the reviewer did in fact purchase from us, we would welcome the opportunity to investigate and address the issue. Please contact us directly with your order details so we can assist.

I previously wrote a 5 star review…
I previously wrote a 5 star review almost exactly 1 year ago. At the time of that review, the curtains were beautiful, easy to hang, and their customer service was amazing. Fast forward to 1 year later and these curtains have been a headache. They are still beautiful and the actual curtains have held up wonderfully. But the hardware and installation are terrible. In the past year, we have needed to have them reinstalled twice and there are now huge holes in our walls. The problem is that the blackout curtains are extremely heavy and the anchors they provide are not sufficient for drywall. They would work well if you had the sheer curtains, but the blackout curtains are too heavy and have caused damage to our walls. They should come with better anchors or we should be advised to install them in studs only. The drywall can't handle the weight of the blackout curtains. We can't shift the curtains to install them in drywall because they are a fixed length.

Hi Gia,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts - we truly value your feedback! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced with the installation of our blackout curtains. We appreciate your loyalty over the past year and regret any frustration caused by the issues with the hardware.
Your suggestion regarding better anchors for drywall has been duly noted, and we will certainly consider this in our product improvements. In an effort to address your concerns, we offered to send an installer with alternative anchors for additional support, and have processed a refund of an additional 10% off your order.
We're committed to learning and growing from experiences like yours, and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. If there's anything we can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to reach out!

I still have no shipping confirmation and have yet to hear back about the status of my order
I still have no shipping confirmation, update on my order, or response from a query. Your website does not work well. I could not create an account bc the screen locks up.
Response from EverhemApr 25, 2022
Hi Shanda,
We're so sorry to hear you didn't receive timely status updates regarding your order.
We did sent a notice when your order went into production. It is scheduled to be completed on or before May 16. Sometimes these emails can get routed to spam based on your email settings.
We also did see an email that you sent on 3/24 inquiring about your order. We replied on 3/24 as well; however, it appears that the reply was sent to the wrong email address. We sincerely apologize for our error here. We have sent our initial response to your correct email address for review.
As of April 11, Everhem has migrated our online store platform to Shopify in order to streamline and enhance our customer experience. Unfortunately the transition hasn't been entirely seamless and an unexpected side effect of this system re-launch is that Customer Account passwords all need to be reset. We've gone ahead and resent an account invite so you can re-establish your account with us.
Orders from prior to the Shopify migration are still in the process of being transferred.
We hope this helps clarify your questions as well as what happened with your previous inquiry.
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.
We obviously always strive to provide our customers with a seamless experience and, whenever issues arise, provide solutions as quickly as humanly possible. We sincerely apologize that we missed the mark here.

Incredibly overpriced
I have 10 windows. I did a virtual consultation with my measurements for Everhem. They sent me a quote for rods and drapes and it came out to $9200.
It has fine print that says we are responsible for all measurements and this is final sale.
They are charging 2-3x what anyone else does, for less service (virtual, not in home measuring) and placing the blame on the consumer for doing Everhem’s job.
This company has to be a scam, or at best, an overprice money grab on Instagram.
I would contact local window treatment companies or Lowes or Home Depot. If you want to spend a small car’s worth of money on curtains, your choice.
Response from EverhemJan 22, 2022
Hi Jonathan,
We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the quote, swatches and virtual consultation service from Everhem. We do hope you are able to find a solution that will be better suited for your needs.
On the signup page for virtual consultations, we state the average price range for each of our products in order to be transparent with those interested in Everhem. The quote you received was in line with the range estimates provided based on the number of windows in your project.
We know we're not the least expensive option available in the marketplace and we certainly do not claim to be; our commitment to lasting quality does generally come at a higher cost, and therefore, a higher price point. We only source high quality linen, cotton and woven wood fabrics. Additionally, all of our finished products are handmade locally in Los Angeles by workrooms with many decades of experience in the window coverings industry.
Since our products are handmade, down to the eight of an inch, it’s very difficult for us to accept returns. This is why we often work with our customers closely leading up to their purchase as to ensure proper measurements. Of course we understand that things can go wrong despite everyone's best efforts sometimes; when they do, our aim is always to find solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
We hope this gives you a little more insight into our business and brand here at Everhem.
Sincerely,
Team Everhem
