How To Anger All Your Customers.
I was an avid user and very hesitantly changed to the new plan after looking at my past reads and finding none of them were flagged as premium. I upgraded and suddenly more than half were flagged. In September 14 books I listened to would have been locked. They made it sound like the "locked" books were new content but they aren't - it is a money grab. My monthly fee is twice as much and I get way less for it. My September reading ($12.99 subscription fee) would now cost me about $120 and and I would have to spread it over 5 months. I get that it said you can't go back but when it was so obviously intentionally misleading, it is a hard pill to swallow. In addition, they told me books I read in the past would be unlocked but at least 20-30 are locked despite being past reads The support is garbage. All of the responses are templated and don't usually answer the question you are asking. Ask to get a real person and you never hear from them again. Audible is now a better deal because you get to keep the books even if you are no longer subscribed and there are lots of sales.
