★★☆☆☆ ESKUTE C200 ST
★★☆☆☆ ESKUTE C200 ST — Documented Purchase & Return Experience I purchased the ESKUTE C200 ST White + Green two-bike combo for $1,368. My total order, #EskuteUS28313, was $1,659.08 after Product Protection and taxes. Unfortunately, my experience with this purchase has been disappointing, and I have photographs documenting the issues described below. I selected the green C200 ST based on ESKUTE’s product image, which showed a light aqua/mint/teal green bicycle. The bicycle I actually received is a substantially brighter lime/fluorescent/avocado green. The first two photos show the advertised color compared with the bicycle actually delivered. ESKUTE customer support subsequently acknowledged in writing that the bicycle I received appears noticeably different in shade from the product images. The same green bicycle also arrived with required screws/hardware missing, preventing us from properly completing the assembly. The screws, wrenches, and other assembly hardware that did arrive were together in a sandwich-size Ziploc-style bag. My photos show the hardware as received and the specific areas where screws were missing. Because some of the missing hardware involved components around the front wheel/brake area, we were not comfortable riding the bicycle. The bicycle also arrived in a heavily worn/damaged and extensively re-taped carton, which I photographed. I additionally documented different/overlapping shipping and product labels on the same carton. One visible label appears to identify the bicycle as C200-ST-GN-SS, while another partially covered label appears to contain C200-ST WT. I asked ESKUTE to explain what the different labels represented and whether they corresponded with the bicycle/color ordered. I am not claiming what caused the multiple labels; I am documenting what was on the package and what I asked ESKUTE to investigate. The shipment also contained a lock and phone bag that I had not ordered. ESKUTE explained that these were complimentary accessories because the standard bare-bike version was temporarily out of stock. I appreciate their clarification regarding those items. After reviewing my photographs, ESKUTE acknowledged the difference in color appearance and offered a $50 partial refund for the color discrepancy, along with an offer to send replacement hardware. I declined the $50 partial-refund proposal. My decision is based on the totality of the documented issues: the significant color difference, required assembly screws being missing, the screws/wrenches/hardware arriving in a sandwich-size Ziploc-style bag, the damaged and re-taped carton, the different/overlapping labels on the package, and my overall experience with the order. I have now requested to return both bicycles for a full refund of the $1,659.08 I paid, rather than accept partial compensation and replacement hardware. The photos included with this review show the advertised color, the actual bicycle received, the Ziploc-style hardware bag, the missing-hardware areas, the front wheel/brake area, the damaged/re-taped carton, and the different shipping/product labels. I will update this review after the return and refund process is completed so potential customers can see how ESKUTE ultimately handles and resolves the situation.
